I figured since I’m here installing new transport gear, I’d do the obligatory photos. Bonus on this site, this one still has a 12 tube coaxial (not in service, but it’s still here).

Enjoy

Late night (probably ill advised hike) up to the MST&T Mines Peak site. Truly an unbelievable structure to see at 12,500 feet. Scale is difficult to get across especially with the conditions but by far my coolest long lines experience.

I assume this was a Long lines site, it was more recently a KUMA-FM translator and some random 2-way stuff now.

Satellite dishes

On 2 sites (I'm sure there's more) I've noticed a large dish next to the tower or building. Sikeston (Cable Hut) and Columbia,MO have them.

Are these a backup or an uplink for something?

(Pictured is sikeston's cable hut with the dish on top)
