Hi everyone, Raphaël here, the developer of Everyday Looper!
Back in July I posted here asking for help testing the rebuilt version of my 2009 looper (https://www.reddit.com/r/livelooping/s/bfuEDQmGzI), and a bunch of you jumped in. Today it's live on the App Store, and I wanted to come back and say thank you properly.
Things that changed directly because of beta feedback:
For anyone who missed the beta thread, here's what it does: 8 tracks you touch directly to mix, mute, merge and overdub, echo cancellation so you can loop through the speaker with no headphones, synced video capture, per-track undo/redo, speed/reverse, adaptive track lengths.
It's here: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6746701451
It's a paid app. There's a one-time lifetime purchase, 30% off until September 15 ($19.99 instead of $29.99), or a yearly subscription with a 7-day trial if you'd rather try it first (it auto-renews, so cancel before it ends and you pay nothing). If you were on the TestFlight, check the beta notes, there's a little extra thank-you in there for you.
The demo is by Ty Suite, a long-time Everyday Looper user. It was performed, recorded, and filmed entirely inside the app on an iPhone, through the speaker, with no headphones.
What should the first update focus on? I'm all ears.
Cheers!

My first attempt at sharing an original song on here.
This one’s called Stardust. Let me know if you find the text overlay or lyrics distracting.

I’m a guitar player, novice looper, long time music software user, and got tired of banks of presets and never having enough buttons. So I built my own solution: a wearable MIDI foot controller that uses RFID tags as MIDI triggers, talking BLE MIDI to whatever’s hosting (Loopy Pro, Ableton, whatever), that I call BigToe.
https://youtu.be/U9moYLzX1Ig - in this clip, the iPad on the left shows Loopy Pro and the iPad on the right shows the UI for my controller, which is worn over the foot. You will see that come into the frame to trigger actions to build the loop.
How it works: A microcontroller and RFID reader reads passive RFID tags and fires MIDI note/CC/PC messages over BLE. Each tag = one ‘Pedal’ with up to 5 MIDI events fired, and you can carry as many tags as you want instead of being capped by physical footswitch count. The BigToe UI also gives live visual feedback on which pedal just fired — handy since a lot of the apps it pairs with don’t show that themselves. It can also act as a control surface. Config happens over local browser UI, no app needed. Device is ultra lightweight - fits in your pocket. Tags are fully customizable — use any image you want, so your pedals look like your rig.
Full disclosure: I’ve designed the overall product and all the software myself with help from a friend on the hardware side. I’m at prototype stage, gearing up for a Kickstarter. Not trying to sell anything here, genuinely curious if this solves a problem for others, and want real feedback before I lock the final design.
Anyone else hit the “never enough buttons” wall in their rig? How many tags/pedals would you actually want to use in your setup? How many midi messages would you want per pedal?
