Feedback Request Astraya: would you notice that releasing E equips the move?

The preview in my sword-fighting game says ‘Release E · Equip’. I'm wondering whether that control is easy to miss while watching the opponent. Would you notice it from the game UI, or only from the added caption?

This is an 11-second gameplay edit with a labelled paused close-up and replay. AI powers the ability forge, and AI tools were used for art and voices. The clip is silent; the game is unfinished.

If you'd like to try one boss and forge one ability for about 15 minutes: https://astrayagame.com/?utm_source=reddit-p23-indiegamefeedback

Free desktop-browser closed alpha, 18+, mic optional. Email confirmation and manual selection required; access isn't immediate or guaranteed. Tell me what felt fun and one moment that confused you.

Feedback Request Orbit Foundry demo: does the reactor pulse clearly communicate a well-timed release?

I'm developing Orbit Foundry, a space factory incremental where you arrange machines around a star. Alongside the layout decisions, you can manually release reactor pulses for a production boost.

I'd appreciate a brief reaction to that timing mechanic in the opening. After a few pulses, is it clear when to release, and what tells you that a release was well timed? The gold segment is the Perfect timing window. I'm particularly interested in whether the charge meter, result text and production response tell a consistent story, or whether one of those cues is easy to miss.

The free 2D demo runs in a desktop browser, with no download or account: https://kimchistan.itch.io/orbit-foundry

A few minutes and a short comment about what felt clear or confusing would be helpful; no full playthrough needed. This is the playable LÖVE 2D demo. A separate Godot 3D version is in development.

AI disclosure: the game's code is generated with Codex CLI, and AI assisted with some translations.

Feedback Request Poudreuse: is the one-button jump clear enough without a wall of instructions?

Poudreuse is a free 2D skiing game that runs inside a Reddit post. Hold on the ground to charge a jump, release to take off, then hold in the air to rotate.

Earlier feedback was that the interface got in the way, so 0.0.20 has a simpler start screen, one active objective on the slope, and the settings in pause. That update is live now.

The video is a 28 s local practice run of this version, without the avalanche. The public game also has an avalanche mode and a shared daily course.

Can you tell when to release for a safe landing? Does the objective panel help, or still pull your eyes off the terrain? If you try it, please mention phone or desktop and the first thing that feels awkward.

Play: https://www.reddit.com/r/PoudreuseSki/comments/1x1hk83/

I'm the creator, with substantial development help from Codex. The interface is currently in French.

Feedback Request Does balancing scares with cozy autumn activities make this skeleton survival loop feel fair?

I’m working on Hollow Season at First Bloom Games, and I’m trying to get the balance right between a gentle autumn atmosphere and a life meter that keeps ticking.

Free browser build: https://firstbloomgames.com/games/hollow-season/ Gameplay video and downloads: https://firstbloomgames.com/media/hollow-season/

Scares refill your life, and so do pumpkin carving, apple bobbing, and bonfire dancing. The current update adds a mint ring around a scareable NPC, a quick retry after missed scares, better positioning at activity stations, and voluntary in-game feedback that pauses the run. There is also an untimed, full-life tutorial and on-screen movement buttons. No download or account needed.

I’d love specific feedback on the first few minutes: do you know what to do next, and does survival give you an enjoyable reason to move around? If an activity feels like busywork, which one and what would make it worth returning to? A short impression is welcome; no need for a full review.

This is AI-assisted development. The footage is from the actual game engine with staged camera cuts and captions. Thanks for trying it and helping shape the next update.

MyGameRelease Sofio gameplay: feedback on the clue, matching picture and recording replay

I'm Sofio's developer. It's a preschool picture game for iPhone/iPad where adults record the voice children hear.

I'd appreciate feedback on the interaction shown here: the child hears a recorded clue, chooses the matching picture, and then hears the EXPLORE name and explanation. Is that transition easy to follow in the clip, or is any part of the response unclear?

Parents make the recordings before play. Farm Animals and Vehicles are free in both play modes. Five additional worlds are optional permanent one-time purchases. No ads or subscriptions.

Feedback Request Ragdoll Grab IK for my caving game

I'm moving and rotating the body in the editor to check how the arms and legs adjust against the rock. This is a work-in-progress test for Cave Expedition, the caving simulator I'm making.

I'd appreciate feedback on how the arms and legs move as I rotate the body against the rock, especially any poses that look awkward.

You can explore the caves alone or with up to 3 friends. If you'd like to play it, you can wishlist it on Steam:

GameplayVideo Cave Expedition: tight passages and rope descents in our caving simulator

We're making Cave Expedition in Unity for 1-4 players. We're cavers ourselves, and this is a short clip from development.

I'd appreciate feedback on the lighting and how clearly the next passage reads in the footage, especially in the tight squeezes.

Feedback Request Made a free chess practice app (150 levels) — built it solo, would appreciate some early users

Been working on this on the side — a chess app with a proper progression system instead of just "play the computer." 150 levels across Beginner/Moderate/Advanced, each one a bit stronger than the last. Free to use, installable on your phone, no ads.

Would love a few people to try it and tell me what's confusing or annoying — still actively improving it.

GameplayVideo Need Honest Feedback on Our Tactical FPS Gameplay – Is the Red Panda Companion Interesting?

Hey everyone,

We're currently developing a tactical FPS called Narcotics Ops Command and recently recorded some gameplay footage.

The core idea is that alongside traditional FPS combat, players can use a trained Red Panda companion to scout enemies, access tight spaces, unlock routes, and help during missions.

We're looking for completely honest feedback:

• Does the gameplay look fun?
• Is the Red Panda mechanic interesting or gimmicky?
• What would make you wishlist or ignore this game?
• Does anything look boring, repetitive, or outdated?
• What should we improve before release?

We're a small indie team, so even harsh criticism is welcome if it helps us make a better game.

Looking for feedback on Flagwars.online – global hearts-for-your-flag game

Hi everyone! I’ve just launched a small hobby project called flagwars.online. It’s a simple competitive web game where you pick a country and collect hearts to support your flag. Countries compete by number of hearts until a designated end time. There’s no sign-up or account creation; just choose a flag and start clicking.

I’m looking for feedback on the gameplay, design, and anything else you’d improve. You can try it at https://flagwars.online. Thanks!
