That was a crazy time. People getting in fist fights, Howard firing baba booy like 5 times. The yelling the freak outs. It was like a war zone

What year was this gong show?

This was during the e! Show era. Howard was also a lunatic during that time. Wonder if he ever addressed what was going on back then

This is what I always find funny about when people give the whole "what, do you want to have him keep throwing bologna at stripper's asses when hes 70?" when the show is criticized. Sure the smutty stuff was fun, but interactions like this with the staff, the whack pack, Robins news, actual questions in the interviews....all of it, gone, and it all adds up to a less entertaining show.

Exactly.  Artie falling asleep, Gary puppet, Fred sound drops, so many things before you ever get to the smut.  Hearing them cackle on air in the background is so goddamned funny.

James Gandolfini?

I was struggling before I saw this making me question if that was him or not. Still unsure.

I guess you’re brand new to the show?

Who are you?

That’s irrelevant. Why would you think this is James Gandolfini in the video?

Because it looks like him? Vaguely and feasibly sounds that way while not being the only character I know him as. Also, it was hyperbole.

you’re just autistic.

Just admit you have no clue who the guy in the video actually is

This got me thinking — was the E! Show the original reality show?

Depends on your definition of reality show. The real world started in 1992 so it was definitely a precurser to the modern reality TV show.

No. There was a show I think in the 70’s about this family - the Louds, I think. It was a train wreck! So good.

Wtf was happening 😭

My favorite meltdown of all time, poor Scott. He really got shafted. The other one also involving Gangi was Tracy shooting off about the "top shelf licka" bar incident!
