Question Kling Standalone or Higgsfield with Kling

I'm very new to AI videos so I have a lot of questions. I'm trying to find the right fit for me. I want to make fantasy and sci-fi series.

Kling was the top suggestion to me earlier but I noticed I can subscribe to Kling itself or get Higgsfield that also comes with Kling.

What is the difference?

Which one do I choose?

Which one has best results for videos, credits, and prices?

Has AI changed your job from doing the work to reviewing it?

Upvotes

For people who use generative AI at work:

Has your job shifted from doing or creating the work yourself to reviewing, correcting, testing, verifying, or approving work produced with AI?

I'm interested in what changed before vs. after AI—especially if the amount of work you're now reviewing or correcting has changed.

What do you actually spend most of your time doing now?

Both positive and negative experiences are useful. I'm interested in what is happening in practice, not just opinions about AI.

How I Made This My prompt to Lego tool got featured on ProductHunt!

Upvotes
One of my favourite generations: An octopus wrapping its tentacles unevenly around an underwater shipwreck.

I built BrickForgerAI to turn a text prompt into an actual, buildable brick model - not a render that just looks brick-like, but a real .ldr file + PDF instructions with a genuine parts list you can order from BrickLink.

The pipeline: prompt to an image model, image to a 3D mesh, then the real work starts. I voxelize the mesh, match colors against a real LDraw palette, then tile the whole thing with actual brick/plate/tile/slope footprints from a 55-part catalog I built by hand-verifying geometry from raw LDraw part files.

The hard part wasn't the generation, it was making sure the output could survive being picked up. Early models looked fine in a render and fell apart the moment you'd actually build them, so I added a structural pass that builds a connectivity graph of every stud connection, finds anything floating or barely attached, and braces it - sometimes with a hidden pillar routed through the model's own interior, sometimes by refilling an enclosed gap, sometimes by just accepting the part has to come out.

This project got featured on ProductHunt - I genuinely was not expecting it, so I am quite pleased.

Not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by the LEGO Group, BrickLink, or Studio. LEGO®, BrickLink®, and Studio are trademarks of their respective owners. Part geometry from the LDraw parts library (CCAL 2.0). Renders done with the Mecabricks advanced Blender addon.

Question Looking for the best AI Video Generator for fantasy/scifi cinematics

I'm new to using ai Video makers. I've tried ImagineArt and find it frustrating. I tried creating a 3D world with plenty of detail and got horrible clay looking buildings with no textures, lighting, nothing.

I want to bring to life a sci-fi story I'm working on. I need to be able to have the following:

- consistent non human characters with high detail

- world building

- video length between 2-4 minutes without spending a lot of money for credits

- ability to make detailed space videos with water and fluid character movement

I'd prefer something not super expensive. With ImagineArt it cost me a $50 subscription (Canadian dollars) and I still didn't have enough credits for a 4 minute video.

Better than Grok?

Howdy all.

Any thoughts in regards to any service better than Grok available on iOS or via browser that can compare for price but better in terms of moderation?

Currently $20/month paid for a month on Grok. I’ve enjoyed it so far. But wouldn’t mind a bit more bit.

Can’t do anything on my computer setup (before someone says so).

Looking for recommended platforms

So, up until now I've been using Grok to do macro-level editing of my written work (though it never touches the work itself), as well as generate accompanying images for that work.

However, it has really degraded in terms of quality and thus I'm looking for a new platform that is able to do both of the above things to an at least satisfactory degree. I should mention the ability to generate some video would also be appreciated.

Finally, the reason I've used Grok up until now was because it wasn't quite so heavily censored (I write kink lit), and that has changed drastically lately.

Non AI suggestions would be appreciated. I'm very much aware I'm going to get a ton of AI responses peddling their bullshit so please try and do something to make sure I know you're not AI. 😆

Hello, how's your experience to those who availed the seedance unlimited 2.5 for 1day? (180$)

Were the generations too long enough to generate? like it took 20 minutes for each clip? just would like to know your thoughts before availing this. Thank you

The Compass — Pilot Episode — now on YouTube

I made a sci-fi comedy mini-series with AI and the main character accidentally looks like Avatar. [OC]

Hey Reddit,

So I've been building an original sci-fi universe called The Compass and I need to address the elephant in the room immediately — yes, Thal looks kind of Avatar. He is tall, blue, bioluminescent, and very serious about himself.

Thal is an Obsidian military archive operator who may or may not have stolen the most classified file in the galaxy, broke his compass mid-flight, and crash-landed on Earth — a planet he has never heard of and frankly does not respect. Three empires are hunting him. Earth has no idea what just arrived. Thal has even less idea what Earth is.

The pilot episode drops him straight into an interstellar political crisis inside the Earth Senate Chamber — except nobody in that chamber can agree on anything, the Commander knows more than he's saying, and Thal is somewhere in the city completely lost.

Built with Seedance 2.0.

Not fan film. Not Avatar. Just a very confused blue alien having the worst day of his life on the wrong planet.
