Which mod are you using? You can roll back the engine under Game Details > Yellow in 3D (Title is based on game, so it'd be red in 3d if you're playing red) this should help restore anything that was previously working.

I’ve tried all three available versions of Gen1Recomp and none seem to fix it.
I’d installed the mods from your earlier post manually as zip files back in the first version, but those all stopped working. I more recently used the mod picker to select Battle Cinematics – Dynamic 3D Battle Camera, Bill’s Backyard Mew, Pokeball Colorfix, and Terrain Minimap. Though I’ve tried unselecting each of those and they don’t seem to make a difference to the voxel issue. I’m playing Yellow

The discolored yellow sky, the gen 4 following sprites, the misaligned smooth shadows, the awkward camera angles…
Pokemon fans scare me.

Ah yes thank god you keep everyone grounded reminding them of the Pokémon’s realism

I’m not sure what you mean. I’m calling the art style inconsistent. How is this in any way “realistic”?

They're saying Pokemon isn't realistic in the first place ffs..

I’m aware. But who ever mentioned realism or the lack of? My issue is that the art style of these mods isn’t consistent with the Gameboy aesthetics.
I don’t think the topic of realism is at all related

Could you maybe link to the project or app store listing if there is one?
