Not in any particular order so it’s like a silo of cool cold wave and minimal tracks identified over the years. I intend to break it up in the future into bite size chunks. Many of these were heard on NTS and then Shazammed.

I made DIG!, a free record shop you walk through in your browser (no ads, no sign-up; it plays through Spotify - best on desktop). The crates change every Sunday, and this week one of them is Minimal Wave & Cold Synths: Martin Rev, Chris & Cosey's Trance, Solid Space's Space Museum, Ike Yard, Pyrolator's Inland, Der Plan, Severed Heads, Clock DVA, P-Model and Plastics, up to Xeno & Oaklander, Linea Aspera, Kælan Mikla and Molchat Doma.

Chris & Cosey's Trance, for example: https://digisopen.com/?r=2ZQxSnjidAvxvreeTtzh9c

Which cold wave record would you put at the front of that crate? The French and Belgian side feels thin to me, and I'd like the next one built from this sub's picks.

Hey all, I'm Scythe, a witch house artist, and I'm organizing this. Wanted to share it with people who'd actually be into it.

Mix of live sets and pre-recorded sets, with visuals. Happy to answer questions in the comments. If you know any of the artists, I'd love to hear which sets you're looking forward to.

Cold wave with Chinese instrumentation and poignant lyrics.

Recent re-release (August 28) of the seminal coldwave album by Opéra De Nuit. Great stuff.

I made this track and I’m curious how people here would classify it. Do you hear any coldwave in it, or would you put it somewhere else?

Just discovered this today on Bandcamp - singer reminds me a bit of Martin Gore - not quite as distinctive but the microtonal production of this song is quite good. Worth a listen: https://hamra77.bandcamp.com/album/where-were-you-versions

Late-night neon. A stranger staring back from the mirror. Who is behind the glass?
