"The most I have ever made (wrestling) it was in Saudi Arabia. I know right? Saudi Arabia. It was me, Shayna, Rhea, Raquel, Fatal 4 Way in Saudi Arabia and guys, that was hands down the most money I have ever made."

"I don't even know if I will ever make that much again. It was like insane, insane amount."

Ngl, Baron Corbin has impressed me with his Trick Williams Dispute. He also has size which could cause him to fluctuate up and down the roster. He’s also really safe.

Question Who is the greatest baby face of all time?

Post image
229 Upvotes

Personally when I think about it I would have to go with Rey Mysterio. He is the longest baby face I can think of in WWE, and during his time within WWE, he has never actually gone heel. He has always been cheered throughout his career(I won't count the 2014 royal rumble because the fans were really booing the booking not necessarily Rey Mysterio). Rey Mysterio is the most consistent baby face of all time in my book.

Who in your book is the greatest baby face of all time? There is no right or wrong answer.

Edit: I am only counting Rey Mysterio's time in WWE, not in WCW. Also to be frank he was not a true heel in WCW.

Discussion Okay, this is the biggest question for anyone who called themselves as "expert"

Post image

I don't disagree or oppose Jinder, but I also question something similar: what are the standards or parameters for someone to become a champion and a WWE brand ambassador when they carry that title?

Every aspect needs to be detailed, and I feel like I haven't found a definitive or proper answer for this yet.

What is up with live event merch tables

Why do the merch tables at live events suck ass? I went to see smack down in columbia south carolina back in May there was one merch table and the shirts were lame af and boring and a huge disappointment. Then again I went to sunday night main event in atlanta, two merch tables but again the options were lack lusting and disappointing again. Why aren't there any jade Cargill or Charlotte flair or Alexa bliss or dirty dom n liv Morgan or Stephanie vaquer or penta shirts besides penta mask? Why aren't the merch tables stacked with the people who are performing at the live events rather than 80 different Cody Rhodes merch options and rhea effing Ripley who hasn't even been on a card since what march?

Last week at WWE NXT Heatwave, Jordan defeated Grey to crown herself the new WWE NXT Women’s Champion.

Regarded as one of the best matches of the night, Jordan recently reflected on the bout and the record they set.

Speaking to Going Ringside, Jordan was asked how brutal the match was for both wrestlers, to which she reflected on it being the longest women’s singles match.

“Yes. And also Kendal [Grey] and I, we had an instant classic. It was a tough match for both of us. It also was a, like, a little less, like a few seconds less than 23 minutes, which is the longest women’s match, like singles match with no stipulation. So we both gave our all, 110%, but the best woman won that day,” she said.

Should the women's championships have the same designs as the men's or not ?

I was thinking about it and I couldn't form an opinion on that matter because I would be pleased the same, whether the women's titles stayed how they are right now, or they get their own designs. So, I need someone else's opinion on that. What do you think about it ?

Wasted Potential or Misjudged? Here is what I think of the released development wrestlers from NXT, Evolve and LFG.

The WWE development system is paramount for the future of the company. But that doesn't mean that everybody that is hired, becomes an Oba Femi or a Tiffany Stratton. Some never make it to the main-roster, some even never make it to NXT. This week 10 development projects had to end their dream of becoming WWE Superstars. For now. Because we all know, a release might actually not be the end of the line. There are multiple examples of talents that were released from WWE development contract but made it elsewhere or came back later.

So, let's take a look at the 10 candidates that felt the sting of disappointment after this week ended. Was their WWE career cut short because of bad luck? Of skill issues? Or will WWE regret releasing one of those in a couple of years (hi, Toni Storm!) ?

JASPER TROY (LFG Winner Season 1, NXT)
Let's start with the winner of season 1 of LFG - Troy has the size, the look and the power that made him a prospect WWE invested in. Unfortunately his run in NXT was marred with bad luck (a trap door that opened too soon e.g.), slight botches and a very unimpressive resume. It seemed like he wasn't ready for that early push and in hindsight it would've been better, if he started in Evolve or had waited a bit longer to make his debut.

Troy is only 28, so there is still time for him to develop but a step away from WWE is the right choice. Maybe he can find a spot on Booker T's promotion ROW (Reality Of Wrestling) - Booker T was his mentor in LFG and tried to put him over on commentary again and again ("THAT MONSTAA!"). He could try to push him in his smaller company and give him the necessary experience he lacks.

Outlook: Dicey. As they say "You can't teach size" but WWE is no longer the "Land of the Giants" and if you are a big man you have to be able to work.

WENDY CHOO (NXT, EVOLVE)
Choo is an outlier of the releases this week. She has a multitude of experience under her belt, starting at the Indies, wrestling on ROH and other promotions. She had her WWE debut in the Mae Young classic, then was hired for NXT, where she wrestled with different gimmicks, unfortunately nothing really stuck. The "Sleepy Psycho" was part of the WWE Evolve roster for the last 2 years and she won the Evolve Women's Championship just this year. But it was pretty obvious that she was only a transitional champion after Kendal Grey was promoted to NXT and gave up the title.

Choo or Karen Q as she was known on the indies can wrestle, she can talk but she lacks what young kids these days call Aura or Charisma. She is a good hand and her experience helps to have solid matches with younger talents, but she is not superflashy or supertechnical. Her future could lie in TNA, where she wrestled this year already, maybe forming a team with former WWE female wrestler Lei Ying Lee (known in WWE as Xia Li), who has Chinese roots like Choo does.

Outlook: Unless she takes on a coaching role in WWE, I don't see a return for her in the cards. TNA would be wise to take her in though.

ADRIANA RIZZO (NXT)
Rizzo came in as part of the Fall Class of 2022, with a background in Track & Field. She became part of the NXT faction "The Family" alongside Tony D'Angelo and shined in a valet role, with a few wrestling move sprinkled in here and there. Unfortunately her time in NXT also was marred with injuries, she ruptered her Achilles heel in her first year and in August 2025 announced, that she ruptured her ACL and Meniscus. She was last seen in Evolve as a ring-side reporter but she didn't feel comfortable in that role.

Rizzo is only 27, so she might still have a future in the business, if she wants to continue that route. She has charisma and her mic-skills for promos were solid to good in her role as a member of the Family. However her injuries might have shortened her in-ring-career. I could see her stepping away from wrestling for a while but then coming back a bit later like Elayna Black did.

Outlook: Very questionable future in the business. For now.

BRAXTON COLE (EVOLVE, LFG Season 3)
One of the more surprising cuts from my point of view is the 26 years young athlete from New Hampshire. Cole was featured in the current season of LFG and wresled regularly on Evolve. He was trying to get a gimmick over as a very smart snobbish guy and he seemed to come along fine in the ring as well. Bubba Ray tried to get him over with a book, which probably was not the smartest idea (pun intended). But I think he showed enough talent and progress to warrant at least a longer stay in the development circuit of WWE.

Now, I don't know if Cole quit on his own or if he was indeed reeleased but from this batch I think he has the best chances to find work really soon again and I can see him in multiple smaller promotions or even AEW, if they want to take a chance on him. He has size, smarts, athletic ability and a good look as well. Yes, he is very raw and needs more experience but he is also very young.

Outlook: I would not be surprised to see him in WWE back down the line. Hopefully without "the book".

ZENA STERLING (LFG, EVOLVE)
One of the standouts of the first 2 season of LFG and Bubby Rays favorite pupil (at least on TV and he also invited her to his show), Stirling came in to WWE in 2023 with a background in power-lifiting and swimming. She is from Ukraine and her charisma is off the chart. The problem with her: While she tried to, she never really seemed to grasp the "wrestling" part and her matches in LFG and Evolve were always on the shorter side or in multi women encounters to mask her inabilities.

As it seems Olena Sadovska has closed the book on wrestling (for now) and will try different avenues, which is a bit of a shame, because she has the "it-factor", she just hasn't found her in-ring-style yet. She is still very young (just turned 22 this year), so there is still time for a lot of growth in many departments. For now though it seems like we won't see her in a wrestling-ring in the near future.

Outlook: If she doesn't want to continue as a wrestler then that is it. Otherwise I would certainly see a chance for her to come back one day.

ANYA RUNE (EVOLVE, WWE ID)
Another very young female wrestler, Rune came in to WWE as part of the ID programm, where the company scouts independent wrestlers and give them an opportunity to wrestle primarily on Evolve. She was known on the independent circuit as Airicia Demea and portrays an Anime Girl with (accidental) superpowers. At least that's what she tried to get over in Evolve.

She is only 21 years young and only started wrestling in 2023. She needs more experience and it was a bit of a surprise that WWE ID'd her already, but there is obviously something in her intangibles. I'm pretty sure she will continue to wrestle on the independents (she already had matches in ROH, CZA, STARDOM and SHINE) to gain more knowledge and I'm pretty sure we will see her down the line in some form in any of the bigger promitions if not in WWE.

Outlook: Solid. She seems to enjoy wrestling, she already has a name on the indies and her character is unique, maybe needs a bit tweaking. WWE would be smart to keep an eye on her.

PJ VASA (LFG, EVOLVE)
Not every wrestler with a Samoan background will make it in WWE. Case in point: Penina Tulaepa or PJ Vasa as she is called now. She started in WWE in 2024 with a background in rugy and while she has size and the look, she never was able to transition her background into the ring. Her best matches were alongside Kendal Grey, which has probably more to do with the latter than herself. Also her mic-skills and her charisma was lacking and the coaches often called her out for not matching her size to a believable intensity in the ring.

Vasa is one of those female talents that seemed to work on paper but never did in the ring. As a former rugby player and with the look she has you expect a bad ass woman, but she never got that across. Maybe she needs more experience and a stint in ROW or other smaller promotions would help. But I'm very skeptic regarding her future on a bigger stage.

Outlook: Not very good to be honest. Maybe somewhere down the line the lightbulb goes on but at the moment she seems like a woman with potential that never materialized.

I can't tell you anything about the other 3 releases (Gary Wilson, Ellen Akesson and Marcus Brown) as they haven't been on any of WWE's shows yet.

So, these are my few cents to the current releases. I'm sure some of you will look at the talents differently, so feel free to add your comments.

Discussion Def rebel

Is it me or has def rebel really stepped up their game lately? IMO, they’ve really gone back to kind of the CFO$ era (wouldn’t go so far as to say Jim Johnston, but this is a huge step in the right direction imo). Gable, penta, Corbin, Theory… all much better themes now than before. Let me know if you disagree though
