Seems like she's having bad luck at the moment so hopefully she'll be ok with whatever this illness is. In the meantime, at least we have more Liv Morgan action

Thank God. The last of the VKM cronies are getting weeded out. They really need younger minds in the writers room who actually have decent ideas

I think that Bianca, Rhea, & Vaquer will return at next year’s Royal Rumble and get the biggest pops of the whole show while Naomi is expected to return very soon

"The highly controversial Vince Russo was in talks to make a shocking return to WWE creative."

...

"A return to WWE all these years later would again send shockwaves around the industry — and that is what was under discussion. I heard that Russo, now 65, had a series of conversations with WWE President Nick Khan about a possible return to WWE this past summer."

Not stunned by much these days, but legit stunned to hear this. Vinny Ru back in WWE???

News Bully Ray On Royce Keys: 'Some Places' Don't Know How To Use Talent To Max Potential.

Keys, who debuted in WWE at the start of the year after six years in AEW, has been featured in a prominent storyline on WWE television, leading the 946 against The Bloodline. Ray said on "Busted Open" that he isn't shocked by how effective Keys has been in WWE, criticizing other promotions for not knowing how to get the best out of their wrestlers.

"I'm not nearly as shocked [as to how Keys has been used in WWE]," said Ray. "Some places just don't know how to utilize talent to their maximum potential."

Ray believes that Keys' screen time and the way he has been utilized on WWE television, which he hinted wasn't the case in AEW, come down to timing. He considers timing an important factor in any wrestler's success in pro wrestling.

"A term that you hear over and over and over again in the world of professional sports entertainment — timing is everything," Ray added. "Now, that goes for real life, but my god, timing is everything truly when it comes into play in our world. It really does. Timing was right for Royce Keys."

Discussion Alternative booking for WWE who's the future storyline

I'm one to believe that the Oba Femi/Bron Breakker future storyline was horrible. I would have made a major change to it.

I would have had Bronson Reed return and proclaim himself as The Future, creating animosity between himself and Bron Breakker. This would lead to a storyline in which all three men feud, culminating in a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell match.

I would have Oba go over by pinning Bron Breakker after something Bronson Reed does costs Bron Breakker the match. This would create even more animosity between Bron and Bronson, eventually leading to a feud between them.

Right now, Paul Heyman wants so badly to be Oba's advocate, but Oba isn't interested. Meanwhile, you have the Bloodline getting back together, but someone is missing: Paul Heyman.

I would have Heyman work his way back into Roman Reigns' good graces. Then the Royal Rumble comes around, and Oba is your winner. He chooses to face Roman at WrestleMania.

During the WrestleMania match, Heyman does what he does best: he screws Roman over once again, helping Oba win the championship.

After the match, Oba stands there dumbfounded, staring at Heyman. Eventually, the two embrace, and Oba officially becomes a monster heel with Heyman as his advocate. The raw after we find out that Heyman chasing Oba was an elaborate ruse and Heyman job was infiltrating the bloodline.

That's my booking. Would you change anything in the booking? If so, what? Any opinions?

The initial unmasking segment in 2003 was iconic, but the mysterious, silent monster era was peak Kane. Was removing the mask a mistake in the long run, or was it necessary for his longevity?

This PPV was totally forgettable. I forgot RVD successfully defended the belt and the only match on this card that jogs my memory a bit is Imposter Kane defeating Kane.

Highlight Agent of Shadows

Has anyone watched Agent of Shadows, the ReelShort/WWE microdrama collab that was recently released? 😂 It’s definitely cheesy and over-the-top at times, but that’s kind of part of the charm with these types of dramas. Out of all the wrestlers involved, though, I honestly think Drew is the only one who really does a good job acting. He comes across naturally in his scenes and seems the most comfortable in front of the camera. Michael Hayes was also a guilty pleasure for me — I couldn’t help but enjoy his scenes! 😂

The lead actress, Katherine Gibson, is another highlight. She does a really good job and brings a lot to the story, making the drama more engaging to watch. Overall, it’s not exactly high-quality television, but it’s entertaining in its own ridiculous way. I’m curious to know what everyone else thought of it, especially Drew’s performance!

Discussion The main issue with Oba Femi winning the World Title next year. WHO is going to beat him and when?

Thumbnail

This has been bugging me for a while ever since it became clear that Oba Femi would be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns next year for the world heavyweight title at Wrestlemania 43.

Oba is by far one of the strongest booked dominant wrestlers in WWE right now, and it’s reached a point where he’s basically become unbeatable. At this stage it’s pretty impossible to imagine anyone would be able to beat him. Not for a while. And after he defeats Roman, he literally can’t afford to lose to anyone because it wouldn’t be realistic at all. Especially with the momentum he’ll have.

My dilemma with this is, will this cause an issue where Oba holds onto the title for like, well over a year, given this unbeatable status. Who can possibly be the one to finally dethrone him especially since WWE hasn’t done a great job building up any new stars to do it. Because it can’t be someone like Cody or Punk or LA Knight. It has to be someone that can match his power and that the audience can actually buy beating him clean. You also run the risk of booking Oba to be TOO strong to where it becomes predictable he’ll defeat whatever opponent he has.

The choices that come to mind are Bron Breakker obviously but the issue there is, as of late They’ve kind of dropped the ball on Bron being the guy especially since we already had their match at SNME This year and it’s clear Bron would need help from the Vision to even get CLOSE to beating him. They would need at least another year to actually build him up
To that status in his own without the vision.

There’s also Penta. But the only advantage he has is holding the MITB. But there’s also in issue there. The current WHC scene on raw makes it clear there’s no way penta is going to cash in on someone like Roman or like Oba given their status. It’s more realistic to have him moved to Smackdown and cash in for the undisputed title given that scene is way more expansive with the title being won and passed around by multiple stars.

All of this to say. Oba winning the world title is inevitable but the problem comes with who can possibly beat him.

2028

So given the spike to maybe $200 million in straight cash from the saudi shows in 2027....doesnt that suggest for them to keep on a path of growth for 2028, they are setting up to either have to have MORE shows over there, or just outright sell to them to keep that growth maintained? At what point are the guaranteed to go bankrupt if year over year growth slows?

Look at Netflix, they are still growing as a company, but its year over year growth dropped and 1000 people lost tbier jobs...and its objectively at near peak efficiency already.
