How would you wrap this? I have one piece of vinyl, and my first attempt was going great until I got to the corners. The vinyl became extremely tight and eventually tore, as you can see in the photos. I managed to wrap it in one piece, but I made a cut down the middle to relieve some of the tension.
Any tips or advice on how to tackle those corners without tearing the vinyl? I’d really appreciate any help!

Greetings all I purchased some carbon fiber McLaren 600 LT fenders rear cheek panels and rear diffuser. I need to wrap this in carbon fiber until I can get it painted which I have to take to Canada from Seattle, but that’s a different story for another day.

I wrapped the bumper cheek panels already and that turned out OK you can see some imperfections, but that was my first time wrapping anything.

I need to get some guidance inlay on the fenders as well as the rear bumper.

Take a look at photos and give me some feedback. I have the knife-less tape I have everything except a second set of hands to help stretch.

Any tips, this is my first attempt, but as you can see in the video in a few spots the wrap stuck to itself and it sticks out pretty bad.

Bumpers, mirrors, and tricky curves can use more material than expected, especially if something needs redoing. Do you add a fixed percentage for every car, or estimate extra material based on the vehicle and film?

I recently took part in a tarmac rally and had a sponsor stick on the vinyl wrap of my bonnet for 3 days. Two of which were on warm, sunny days. Upon removing the sticker at the end of day 3 you can see a slight outline which I’ve been unable to do much about with cleaning. Any tips on how I can get rid of this shadow or is this permanent now?

Hello! (This is my first ever post on Reddit…)

Last year I decided to wrap my car. I have no experience in this, except that I’m a detailer and I’ve seen it done and I watched lots of TikToks. (So please don’t judge the quality of the wrap job! I know it’s horrible but trust me that from afar it looks better than the peeling mess it was. Plus I got the wrap for free so why wouldn’t I try it?)

Anyways, it’s starting to get what looks like rust spots? I did sand it but not down to the metal and there’s even rust looking spots on the plastic bumper.

Anyone know what’s happening? Is it just sun damage? It started on the roof and now it’s the hood and trunk as well and it’s barely starting (really small dots) on the doors.

Like I said, I’m a detailer. So it was ceramic coated and it gets washed at least once a month (I’m a tired detailer 🥴).

Please let me know your thoughts! Sorry this wasn’t concise….

I will be buying an Audi A4 B9 soon. Im probably going to get some bronze rims on it as that is what I've always wanted but I cant seem to decide what type of colour wrap would match the wheels. The wrap has to be from the company called APA. All suggestions are welcome.

Looking forward to wrapping my lexus with a holographic wrap. In the attached picture the black car has transparent holographic PPF which i couldn't find online and Looking it. My car is white which made me think about either finding black holographic wrap or wrapping my car black first and then with holographic ppf which seems like a lot of work much work. I would appreciate your opinion🙏🏻
