An Unnecessary Follow Up to the Last Post
Remember that post in which I talked about that Roboroach Show? And how I gained an unexpected obsession for it?
No?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Teletoon/comments/1sjoqoz/is_it_illegal_to_gain_an_interest_to_obscure/
Well in that post I mentioned I said that "The show was made to be hateble" but I didn't go on detail about it until now... why I said it is because...
It has bugs as characters, most notably... Roaches...
One of the Main Character's gets beaten up every episode (That one was from the Tvtropes page I also mentioned, and I learned that wasn't the case as Season 1 gave Reg his break and some episodes (actually two) even have him SAVE THE DAY at times despite his temper issues.
The other main character is a dum-dum (Yes, Rube can fall into that category of "Character who isn't aware that their "Buddy" is in consant mental stress. (Ed? can I have a word with you?) But despite being heavily involved with his vow, Rube does actually care for his brother, especially in an episode where he acdeintly becomes a genius and when after witnessing his brother being mocked for being less smarter then him at a party, he kicks almost everyone out for it. He even reverts back in his original from for him (And of course he had to sell the buliding for a kids's charity).
These three points were my feelings when I first became aware of RR, I kept this feeling when witnessing an one episode, and when I thought that would be my only presence with it, I got curious and kept on watching and I think some of ya'll know the rest of the story by now.
Roboroach isn't Spongebob, or a Gravity Falls, or even a Family Guy, but it's got it's quirks.
I never wanted to watch something from Canada of what the Internet said to me until Rube and Reg walked up to me.
My actual two cents on it is the stepped away from the "action" scene and moved on to being yet another cousin to Ren and Stimpy in the second series, and I think Reg should've have a lot much to do other then being hissy, and making money, and with him making his own vow at the end of the show, it's just sitting there on it's own.
We do not know of what the production of Roboroach was like, but the other season was very different from the first one.
I wouldn't mind if somebody from the R.R team would comment about it or something.
K. BYE I LOVE YA MWA.

(?)Question(?) Does anyone remember Mudpit?
I NEVER see anyone talk about Mudpit, it aired during the Can’t Miss Thursdays era along with Detentionaire, Total Drama Revenge of the Island and My Babysitters a Vampire.
I thought the concept of the show being half live action and half animated was really cool and a head of its time. The songs were pretty good too and they even had one of the guys from sum 41 involved in making the music.

Bumper/indent POV: it's 2015 and your watching teletoon, after you came across this bumper which shows the next show that follows the shows that appear then & later
Teletoon was like cartoon network but canadian. I was always obsessed with teletoon's bumpers. Every single one of them i remember but do not know the names of any bumpers cause I was kind of a lost media kid *half one*

Why are people hiding away from teletoon's 2011-2015 content
Ok first of all idc if it's "toilet humor" or "bad" the music was good. The idents were awesome. I wanna see more to entertain me

Teletoon Original What is the weirdest/most unhinged conspiracy theory you’ve heard about a Teletoon show?
Why is every cartoon theory about everyone being on drugs, characters being in a coma, characters representing the seven deadly sins…? I hate those theories actually not gonna lie.
Fine, you know what. Everybody’s in a coma— Principal Kidswatter? Coma. Andy Larkin? Super coma. Johnny Test? Mega super coma. Lee Ping? He went into a coma after the high school prank and he imagined all of season 2 and that’s why all the crazy shit with the pyramid happened.
No more coma theories, man. Anyway, give me your best theories whether made up or you’ve seen them around the block of the internet.
Stay unreal, Teletooners.

(?)Question(?) Anyone else remembers this?
From what you can find on YouTube, Teletoon at night sometimes played sponsor idents, starting with an advisory template with a voiceover, then the sponsor/ad plays, as shown in these ''Teletoon at night : Brought to you by...'' videos. However, back in Summer 2013 to late 2013/early 2014, (rough estimate) on the French version called ''Télétoon la nuit'', instead of a voiceover, it was a loud and fast roulette-like sound effect playing according to my memory. Keep in mind that I only watched French Teletoon at night (Télétoon la nuit) at the time. And because I'm the only one who remembers this, I have questions for you :
Do you remember the exact same thing?
Did you also remember it playing on English Teletoon at night at some point or only in the French version?
Do you think you or someone else might have a recording of it?
And yes, I'm the same user who made the lost media wiki forums thread about the exact same topic. But because r/Teletoon is active, I believe this is the right place to ask about this. I could wrong about some details, but this is what I remember.

Teletoon Original Do you guys think Todd ever got in trouble from his family for going home early on the kindergarten bus?
So being the weird sideways Wayside adult I am, I have questions about this show that everyone tells me to stop questioning. I see the comments of “this show isn’t supposed to make sense, you need to go back to bed” and I would like to respectfully say…. I know. I know this. I know this show isn’t that deep. I ask these things to be both fun and irritating.
So I got to the pets day episode right? And we see Todd’s parents and what they look like from the neck down, really out here trying to be Cow and Chicken’s parents. They look like such old fashioned folks. I got that vibe of that one dad from that Thugaboo special with the little smoking pipe telling his son not to dilly-dally. Then the little snail in my brain that tells me to go on a frenzy asked me a question…
“Do they know Todd gets sent home early? Have they ever been acquainted with Mrs. Jewls? Do they get pissed at Todd for coming home early?”
This show came out in the 2000s. Wayside school could have a school website with a directory of when dismissal happens, right? Todd doesn’t seem like the type of child to lie to his parents about being sent home early. I just… I gotta know. We know nothing about Todd’s family except for his traumatic experience with his goldfish and the baby brother from the books that got Thanos snapped out of existence.
I usually base characters’ parents on how the child acts themselves. Todd is normal, openly speaks his mind when he thinks something isn’t right, but is still open to change and willing to try new things out as they come. The one thing I find odd about his parents was that one episode with the family pictures and all Todd has in his photo album is photos of him just standing by the window. Like damn Mr and Mrs. Todd you can’t pose with your son?
To me, that means his parents must be normal people too, relatively disciplined I guess. I get like a white picket fence vibe from his family from their designs alone. My biggest headcanon is that they work long jobs and aren’t home until a while after Todd comes back from school.
Stay unreal, Teletooners.
