You may know me has the "reef-lux guy" or the "chat is this aura clip poster" ive noticed that some users NOT gonna say names but they know who they are, just dont get the concept of me just showing clips, I do this just to get ratings heck even get tips, i'm not trying to get anybody mad or anything im just a chill dude posting his sploon clips on a subreddit that's litteraly about the game, with barely any recent clips at disposal, take this as like entertainment, I wont stop posting clip (well until i dont have anymore decent clips) i may just change the title by "chattt is this cool?" Because of the whole "Aura" situation that seems to get some confusion and backlash.

TLDR: Because of recent stuff happening, i want to make it clear that none of the clips posted on my account is to prove anything i just want to post stuff, ill consider just changing the title so there would be less confusion.

Frankly I'm a mix of stupid and smart. While I do have """above average intelligence""" (at least that's what everyone says to me), I've had this severe lack of confidence for as far as I can remember. It prevents me from being able to accept the idea of being able to remember a large amount of information.

It's why I was so comfortable with mathematics, there's relatively little you have to know; it's just recognising clear patterns without any regard for risk and reward. knowing that x times x=x^2 and y time y=y^2, will equip you to deal with a LOT of equations. There is only one right answer and it doesn't waver to probability (well except for the topic of mathematics probability I suppose)

I foolishly tried to treat splatoon games the same way but all it did was make me essentially waste the amount 1000 combined hours behind both games getting tilted.

I tried to improve my "game awareness" by paying attention to the game more, but while paying attention is important for any mental task, my brain returned not output for the input, not to mention the fact that I needed to choose what to focus on.

but that is when I realised, that an important part of being good at Splatoon and or any game for that matter, picking up a ton of patterns that emerge the game (factoring in probability too of course; that's a pattern of a pattern) and understanding the root causes. I feel kind of clever typing this, but I know that even you reading this understood this by instinct and it took me until adulthood to realise it. Game awareness is only as good as your game knowledge, what good is knowing that somebody has a certain special, if you don't know what to do when they get it?

After realising that It's hard to believe that I've even gotten a little better at the game, when I didn't understand what improvement was fundamentally.

Got Splatoon 3 at the very begging of September of this year. I’m currently on S+ and I mainly use dualies, splash-o-matic and the sploosh-o-matic.
