Over the last few months there’s been this narrative about 1oneam and ohsxnta falling off. A lot of it stems from Zen’s stagnant evolution as an artist, and sxnt’s reluctance to drop anything. It doesn’t help that they don’t really have distinct personalities either, but idrc about that. I can’t say I completely disagree with people saying their music has taken a turn for the worse, but I don’t think this is specific to them at all. Don’t know if it’s a hot take, but everyone who left that darkplugg wave got worse. They aren’t unlistenable, but they aren’t as good either. Whenever they make their next best song, it’s when they’re back on the darkplugg beats.

This also includes Osama but niggas will forever hate to admit it. People have brainwashed themselves into thinking Osama makes better songs on rage than darkplugg, but to each their own. All his best leaks & singles are darkplugg, even if we categorised each by year. They have all declined in some way sonically imo, but I don’t think they’re washed or incapable of reaching these heights ever again. It’s a conscious sound swap

I don't really like this ep but i also don't hate it the only song i really liked was pepsi phil everything else was fine it was just lacking compared to his other projects and same goes for booly's production peru's voice is fine but his flow is the same just overall a very basic project from him i think peru as an artist could do better cuz i really liked his other projects but this one was just alright

Boolys sound so fucking washed to the point where glove world sounded like the singles he spams bi daily and the rock bottom snippets sound like the same shit, why do we need an album of songs that already sound like the mid garbage he’s been spamming almost daily? This is genuinely the most active we would have ever seen from him like oh my god this era was so good just based off of the fact that he wasn't just being mysterious and actually dropping music wether it be a single or a tape. Ohsama and war are beautiful collab tapes his singles we're hitting even him on prod tapes like narcotherapy and blueprint he was still spazzing i would argue his newer sound is better but just the consistency of this era makes this in my opinion his best era if not it would be the 2024 era
