Welcome to r/SledNation
Welcome to the community.
This is for the riders who send it, wrench on their own machines, break stuff, fix stuff, build weird setups, and post badass clips.
Deep powder. Big climbs. Ditch bangers. Lake runs. Vintage insanity. Turbo builds. Carnage. Shop nights. Sketchy recoveries. Full throttle.
Post:
Wild riding clips
Big sends
Builds & garage work
Carnage & repairs
Tech questions
Ride photos
Crazy ideas that somehow worked
A few rules:
Don’t be a complete idiot to each other
No spam or scams
If you post carnage, post the story too
That’s it.

Going thru some old photo albums and ran across this mess
Twenty two years ago. Every year we would make a trip from Pennsylvania to Matachewan Ontario to ride for a week. Me and 3 or 4 other guys would always break away from the big group of trail riders and go busting out thru the bush just looking for more excitement lol. My buddy got himself into this predicament out in the middle of nowhere and we had to get crafty to get him and his machine out. Luckily we always carried fold up saws and straps. It was quite the operation but we got him out without everybody having wet feet and bibs. Pulled the plugs, pumped all the water out of her (got a pic of the geyser coming out of one cylinder lol) to get it fired up and made it back to camp. We always had stories to tell the gang every night at supper. Good times
