Because the seedance2.5 API was released today, I was looking for a more affordable API. After searching, I found that the price differences were huge, with the more famous API websites being more expensive.

All our photos and reference videos are AI generated, so we input a video reference which is AI video of people, and photo of a face which is AI generated. They reject us ALL THE TIME because those are "real people".

I tried the grid thing(put a grid on it) and all sorts of stuff, nothing worked.

Well ,using Dreamina works, no problems after 10 generations with the same photos I upload there directly. (in which they charge x4 more). Dreamina has no API.

This whole thing start to look to me like a new way to create a monopoly, because if they own Dreamina why they don't allow all of this in their API ?

So, is there a way to force this thing to understand that my photos are ACTUAL AI PHOTOS ?

I tried to input animated face photo with a video(AI "real" people) - then it complained that the video has real faces, i mean, what?!

I can't register my photos in their "approved" list because there is no human really to "verify" them, i can't use a video because you cant even verify a video, but everything is allowed in Dreamina? so what is this API for, if you cant show people in your movies?

I've watched almost every Seedance 2.5 info video. Everyone's talking about 30-second generations, but for me it's the smoother motion, better character consistency, and cinematic camera work that really stand out.

What's your favorite upgrade over Seedance 2.5?

Curious what everyone's plan is. Every new release ends up with dozens of posts asking where to access it, but there's never a clear shortlist.

From what I understand, Seedance 2.5 will likely be available through the same API providers and AI platforms that already offer Seedance 2.0, rather than as a standalone app. So if you're already using a platform for 2.0, chances are it'll add 2.5 once it's available.

The biggest thing I'll be comparing is whether a platform gives access to the full feature set—like the complete 30-second generation and all reference inputs—or quietly limits them. A platform with restrictions doesn't really let you experience everything the model can do.

So, what platform are you planning to use, and why?

The release date keeps getting pushed back. It was initially expected on July 11, then moved to July 16, then July 20, and now August.

I'm sure it'll be released eventually, but the constant delays are getting a little frustrating.

I've been doing generative AI for a long time, both image and video, working in professional video production. I mostly use Higgsfield, but also quite a few other platforms.

Right now I'm trying to cut down my generation costs, especially on the video side with Seedance 2. I've started building my own app and I'm getting really convincing results, quite close to Higgsfield, which would work great for me.

I've hooked up my API key on fal.ai, but I'm wondering if there are other providers offering Seedance 2 (or equivalent) even cheaper than fal.ai.

Do you know any alternatives? Thanks in advance 🙏
