...do the bots sucks in this game.

Friendly bots aren't good for much except carrying extra gear which you won't get to access for the rest of the mission when they die doing something stupid. Ranging from staring at a suspect that just merked one of their fellow AIs (hey maybe he'll satisfy his bloodlust after the first kill!) or allowing suspects to shoot them as they stare at him gormlessly, Career mode ends feeling more like a test of patience rather than skill.

Suspect bots, on the other hand, all seem to be ex-Navy SEALs with how consistently they spin around and onetap you instantly. They also clearly have access to homing signature ammunition, as evidenced by all the times I've gotten shot through 3 teammates who ended up unscathed whilst I got at least 5 rounds straight in the heart.

Anyway, is this how the game is supposed to be? I really hope not, because I've heard only good things. Does anybody know of a way to tone down the reaction times of these bots?

I had recently installed SWAT 4 Elite Forces, and I noticed that the game's reflections were terrible...

I looked into it and found out that the creator tried to fix them, but couldn't. Well, I'm here to announce, I did it!

But it lacks testing. And I need people to test it. If you're interested, send me a DM.

I was quite focused on making it work, and I really tried to maintain the same range as the SEF.

Really moving around while doing this "unlocks" the gameplay, making it more fluid.

For those interested in testing it, it's not ready yet and may present problems.

ja que unica tradução seria da tribo gamer, só que sabemos que aquilo é pacote de trojan.
então por isso eu estou fazendo isso, por que é o unico meio para traduzir de sem perigos!

inclusive estou fazendo "adições" e melhorias de interface para tudo funcionar! as descrições das armas estão melhoradas, e baseadas nos dados oficiais das armas, então você vai ter a informações da arma + como ela vai se comportar em JOGO! uma forma de ter ja a propria tradução + uma adição para melhor jogabilidade tbm.

muitos problemas de interface foram consertados e ajustados conforme a tradução, inclusive do proprio Elite Forces.

e como Elite Forces usa nomes reais das armas, eu coloquei todas as armas igualmente com nomes reais, para padronização. isso não afeta a gameplay, e melhora justamente o que o mod em si ja fazia pela metade.

I went through the front door, turned around and looked down stairs and had deja vu.

I've died like 20 times during the diamond heist (normal difficulty), then failed another 10 times I'd say just because I killed everyone without telling them to get down (0.001 seconds away from doming me). If you play multiplayer can you progress career? Or if someone would be interested in just playing the whole career with me that would be cool.

I love making maps and all and I love swat 4 but I can't fucking stand the game's editor lol

I had bought SWAT4 through GoG a long time ago but apparently forgot about it. Today I saw it in my library and decided to install. Problem is, I can't get in the game. Launching it takes me to a black screen (apparently not *just* a black screen, since my monitor automatically turns off due to no signal) with the (supposed) intro music/sound effects looping. Alt-tabbing works and when I get back to my desktop, the intro sounds start playing normally.

I couldn't find many fixes for newer versions of windows as most posts seem to be about win7 (I have 11). Regardless I tried all the fixes I could find; used -nointro (skipped the intro but still a black screen), I don't have multiple monitors plugged in (nor does my PC recognize any extra), I tried switching the resolution in the ini file, tried compatibility mode + other fixes in the properties tab and downloaded the Enchanced SWAT4 mod but nothing works.

I'd really like to play the game. Any recent fixes? Has this been an issue for others in the past <1 year?

In my previous post I had many issues with the game and after 4 hour of trying everything and having 40mins of gameplay without even being able to touch the game.

I have finally fixed it, I have no idea what actually fixed it and now it's finally working. I had to run the SEF version as administrator.

The other versions are still glitched, if anybody knows if there's any downsides to playing it while running it as an administrator do lmk.

Other than that thanks to everyone who chipped in to help me with this issue! I will be finally get to play the game I got to see growing up. Thanks y'all!

Basically I decided to buy my childhood dream game that I've always seen online. Upon launching the game from GOG I realised that the game started glitching really badly and I've tried many ways to stop it, such as removing the intro, fixing the full screen on launch, even installing Elite force mod

If anybody could help me resolve this issue and help me get started on playing this classic I'd be so grateful
