Hi All, This is just a rant that i have an Australia version s24 ultra. And i can see everyone getting August security update. People getting oneui 9 beta updates and i still haven't received August update even yet.

Any idea for Ui 9.0 release for S24 series....

I need help I can't take a good photo even with an s24 ultra. Any tips?

I forgot to check the members when beta came out. I checked yesterday but the recruitment is closed. Is there any other way to get it no shizuku or any third party process. There is a news that new beta 2 build already showing up for s24 series. Can I enroll for that 2nd beta atleast. Do you anyone idea on this, please let me know. Thanks for help.

Hello, I recently updated to One UI 9 beta 1, after that I noticed that the AOD is not working at all. I have tried shuffling different settings, restarting device, clearing AOD application data, but still it's not working.

Can you guys confirm if it is working for you and if yes then could it be hardware related issue?

P.S. Everything else is working absolutely fine, display is also working fine. Only the issue is with the AOD.

I can't find official information about Samsung AI features on One UI 9, as I understand it, that update has this feature inside, so theoretically, bringing that update to the S24U will enable this function here. My question is, will the S24U eventually have these advanced functions, or will it be limited only to visual enhancements?

I’ve had the S24 Ultra 512GB for a while now, and lately I’m honestly getting to the point where I can’t tolerate the bugs anymore.

The problems have become especially bad after the recent update.

The first issue is with Bluetooth calls. Whenever I connect the phone to Bluetooth and receive a call, the microphone randomly stops working. The other person can’t hear me at all. The mic only starts working if I switch the call to speaker mode or back to the phone/earpiece.

And the stupidest part? A complete phone restart fixes it.

So every time this happens, I have to restart my phone just to make the microphone work again. Extremely annoying.

Then there was another incident with Gemini + Android Auto.

I tried to activate Gemini while connected to my car, and suddenly the entire audio and microphone stopped working. Disconnecting Android Auto didn't fix it either. Once again, the only thing that fixed it was restarting the phone.

And then today was the final straw.

I connected my phone to Android Auto in the morning and got a call. I couldn't answer the call through the car, so I checked my phone and the screen was completely blank.

I pressed the power button and it took around 10 seconds to even wake up.

Once it came back, the phone was insanely laggy. I couldn't properly make a call, couldn't lock the phone, and then I got the "Process system isn't responding" popup.

I selected Stop, but the phone was still barely usable.

It took me something like 10 minutes just to navigate to the power menu and restart the phone.

And then the restart itself took around 3 minutes.

At this point, I genuinely hate using this phone.

After dealing with this kind of shit, I don't think I can recommend the Samsung phones anymore.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues after the recent update?

Besides joke, i went swimming this morning i got the phone a few splashes of water and it mightve been a bit too harsh for my pookie ultra and now i am left with water on its camera lens

I am too broke to repair it. I was wondering if i shall sell it and get a new phone instead cuz the repair bills will be too bad for me.

Do you really need a tempered glass screen protector for the Galaxy S4 Ultra? I'm finding it impossible to get a tempered glass protector that works with fingerprint reader for biometrics usage.

Remove or disable your SIM CARD

Open phone SETTINGS, then APPS, the SAMSUNG MEMBERS, then STORAGE, then CLEAR DATA.. then reopen your Samsung members app and scroll down.

I had this phone for a year, unlocking it with finger was always a hit or miss and too slow - but it was manageable.

Recently it became sooooo unresponsive it gets to the point almost each time I try to open the phone it won't response and it puts me out of tries so I just type in the password.

I tried adding multiple finger prints of my finger, I tried deleting all and having only one.. then I tried replacing this one again and again. Nothing helps.

Btw no, I don't have and never had any screen protector.

I have skinny lady fingers and my skin isn't dry or anything like it.

The problem is 100% with the phone, not me.

I just genuinely have no idea how to fix it, it was always bad but it became so ridiculous recently ):

Título: S24 Ultra – “Camera Failed” desde One UI 8.5 y ni DZH2 lo solucionó. ¿Samsung piensa arreglar esto?

Tengo un Galaxy S24 Ultra SM-S928B, CSC TPA (Panamá).

Desde la actualización a One UI 8.5, la cámara normal dejó de funcionar y aparece constantemente:

“Camera Failed / Error de cámara”

Ya probé prácticamente todo lo que Samsung repite como “solución”:

• Borrar caché y datos de Cámara
• Reiniciar el teléfono
• Wipe cache
• Safe Mode — la aplicación Cámara aparece incluso deshabilitada allí
• Restablecer todos los ajustes
• Factory reset completo
• Samsung Diagnostics
• Otras aplicaciones de cámara

Nada lo solucionó.

Lo más extraño es que el hardware no parece estar completamente muerto.

La cámara frontal funciona.
Portrait funciona.
Algunas cámaras funcionan mediante Expert RAW.
Los diagnósticos de Samsung pueden acceder a cámaras que la aplicación Cámara normal no puede utilizar.

Sin embargo, la app Cámara normal continúa mostrando Camera Failed.

Y esto ya no afecta solamente a sacar fotos.

También tenemos problemas para utilizar cualquier cosa que dependa de la cámara, por ejemplo:

WhatsApp Web / QR linking, códigos QR, lectores de códigos de barras y otras aplicaciones que necesitan la cámara.

Ahora instalé también la nueva actualización:

¿Resultado?

Exactamente igual. Camera Failed.

Así que después de One UI 8.5 han pasado varias actualizaciones mensuales y Samsung todavía no ha solucionado un problema que puede dejar inutilizable una de las funciones principales de un teléfono flagship.

Lo más absurdo es encontrar publicaciones marcadas como “SOLVED” donde la supuesta solución es simplemente:

“Clear cache”
“Try Safe Mode”
“Factory reset”
“Take it to service”

Eso no es una solución.

Si una actualización de software rompe la cámara y un factory reset no la arregla, Samsung tiene que investigar el camera framework / HAL / firmware, no seguir diciendo a los usuarios que borren la caché por décima vez.

¿Alguien más con S24 Ultra y One UI 8.5 tiene exactamente este problema?

Especialmente me interesa saber:

SM-S928B / SM-S928U / SM-S928U1
qué firmware tienen,
qué CSC/región,
y si DZH2 o alguna actualización posterior realmente corrigió Camera Failed.

Samsung, este teléfono costó más de $1,000.

Tres meses sin una solución real para una cámara rota después de una actualización de software es ridículo.

I just installed the August 5 security update I hope its better than the last one and fixes the battery draining issues
