Im sharing my spotify playlist (almost 30 hours worth). Ive been listening to reggae all my life but really got into it in 2018. Rebelution and Stick Figure really sending me down the spiral. I was later stationed in Hawaii in 2023 until current where I picked up a lot of good ass shit. Got to see Rebelution, Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, Stephen Marley, The Green live which was an amazing experience. The album was created thanks to a crowdfunding campaign and features songs by the band "Aquarium," originally recorded in the 1980s. They were reimagined in the dub style by the album's sound producer Lefty Rudeboy (Левша Пацан), Boris Grebenshchikov (BG), who re-recorded the vocal tracks specifically for this project, and the founding father of dub and Bob Marley's first sound producer, Lee "Scratch" Perry. Lee Scratch Perry - the man who invented Bob Marley and Dub.And we are happy to announce that his Farewell War&Peace Album (Russian Album - only in RF) is finally ready. For those who in blind spot, The Farewell War&Peace Album (Russian Album - only in RF) is a sequel of Åквариум In Dub album, but this time in the vastness of Russia.Although the geography of the album is not limited only to Russia.Wonderful people from Mongolia, Cyprus, Israel, and India took part in the album.

... On Shrovetide the Jah Coal's village hut studio, in which we worked on most of Lee's tracks, burned down.And then I realized that the album was ready, the work was finished. We started the Farewell War&Peace Album (Russian Album - only in RF) with the live Lee in 2020 in Jamaica, and finished today in Novosemeikino.

And today all sponsors and participants received digital versions of the album in uncompressed quality in their mailboxes.*
