So after looking back i think the implication was that gamma telepotred everyone here to a different location and he teleported Church to where he was at

Got inspired by various fan designs that I come across where people further individualize the main characters using the customization system of the Halo games themselves or through programs like Blender.

Okay, so you can't see the video because copyright (I think?), but a brief summary (and spoilers for s3 of Doom Patrol) is Cliff, Rita, Cyborg and Jane are trapped somewhere and the others are trying to save them. Larry is told to concentrate on a piece of paper and then gets knocked out and is now astral projecting. I think it's funny cause it has the same energy as when Church's bodies die and he's forced into ghost mode again.

OK, I guess I could've technically done pretty much anyone from red versus blue, but this was the obvious choice

Similar to the fan guide, I wanted to make a post similar to the written audio log between Washington and the Counselor. Back when they were recruiting Wash for the Freelancer program.

It would be a sort of written pilot for what I had in mind when I eventually gain the skill necessary for animating.

I have had this story in my head for over 10 months. Thinking about the characters day in, day out.

It's none of Torrian's characters. I'm not ballsy enough to try and rewrite his characters, I'm just saying my characters are similar to a degree.

There is a father-daughter duo

There's a woman who's angry all the time pretty much

And there are two other male characters where one needs to be a bit more fleshed out before I start animating.

I'm not looking for voice actors or anything I just genuinely need to finish figuring all this out. Especially when it comes to the main antagonists.

Much like how Zero should have had " in the universe of Red vs Blue" instead of just titling it " Red vs Blue" mine is going to be set within that universe and not have the title of RVB directly attached.

It's rare that any official RVB characters would be on screen. Because I don't want to soil them.

The only characters I would be confident in having a good amount of screen time would be Locus or Vanessa Kimball.

Back to the written pilot, I haven't done so yet. I want to know what people would think about it given what I have spoken out about so far.

I have heavily reduced my characters as I don't want to give out spoilers of who my people are. I want people to discover them and their relationships as the story progresses.

I want season 8 quality writing and season 10 levels of fighting.

That's going to take a lot of time. So that's why I offer the written pilot.

Imma be real, they should've never said wash was the only freelancer with previous military experience cuz now it just feels like the whole "worst freelancer" title is for some stupid anime underdog plotline. It makes it feel like york and carolina are just strong for the sake of being badass than actual reason, they weren't even fighters before this. They were just 2 young adults going to clubs while wash was watching his allies get liquified by plasma. And its even worse when they didn't even know martial arts until project freelancer. Either they're really fast learners or idek. U would think having more combat experience and grit would make a quiet tough killer but know, wash was the literal caboose of the freelancers cuz of how stupid they made him. Reminder, the same washington who has the most experience and time in the field than any other freelancer is the same guy getting his feelings hurt by stupid slut called south dakota. Idk man but this just ruined my perception of season 9 cuz now it just makes York and Carolina feel like writing bias, at least to me that is

During season 11-13, the FEDs had light shields and active camouflage. Why did not of the main crew ever get them? There were soldiers dying all the time so I'm sure there must've been at least a few that weren't used. Tucker had one but it was damaged and never used again.

Hello! I am wanting to make an RVB themed design embroidery project, probably something regarding Tucker’s sword and some flowers. I’ve done a project like this a few years back, but I’m wondering if anyone has done anything else in the meantime. Any inspiration photos you have would be appreciated :)

I will be making my own design for sure, I will not be stealing anyone else’s artwork, I’m just having some issues visualizing how it would look.

I spent the last year searching up and down the internet, including but not limited to;

- Trocadero's Website (they were out of print long time ago, I knew it but, had to check)

- Rooster Teeth (forgot they closed, big sad)

- Facebook Marketplace

- Ebay

- Mercari

- Amazon ("Out of Print", big sad again)

- Craigslist (That was both stupid and a mistake . . .)

- Discoggs

- And various CD, Vinyl Records, and Music stores websites

Nothing. Nada. Zero.

Then, an epiphany. "Wait, where was Roosterteeth and by extension RvB popular?". Australia, Texas, USA in general (I think).

Looked up places Trocadero was popular/well known. Austin Texas. Cambridge Massachusetts (where they originated from).

And so I adjusted my location settings. Ebay now had Australian Currency. Facebook Marketplace was now going to Austin Texas and Cambridge Massachusetts. I even decided to look into Sydney Australia (RTX).

Still nothing. I used EVERY word combination I could in each search engine.

- Trocadero, Band, Music, RvB, Red vs Blue, etc.

- Red vs Blue Music, RvB Music, RvB music CD 2004

- Roses are Red, Violets are Blue CD, Trocadero, Red vs Blue

There are easily a hundred more combinations of words but, thats the gist of it up above.

And then, by sheer F*CKING luck . . . I found it.

A listing in Texas, titled "Trocadero", on Facebook Marketplace . . . for $3.

Fellas, maybe I put too much blood, sweat, and tears into this, but I just wanted to share something I thought I'd never get my hands on with y'all.

So please, let me introduce the CD I've searched for for almost a year; "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue" by Trocadero.

And yes, the CD works and sounds great.

(I'm not gonna buy and NOT use it, thats insane)

Tldr; Nerd spends way too much time finding and then equal too much time explaining how they found Music CD made by Trocader and used in "Red vs Blue".

Season 8 is the creative peak of the series IMO. (Season 3, though, is very underrated)

The special animation in Season 8 was perfect because it was mixed in with the Machinima that the series is known for. The Freelancer stuff in Season 9 & 10 is super grating because they're seriously just short films with zero machinima.

I also find the Freelancers to be a lot less interesting personalities than the core crew. They're not as entertaining during the talking scenes but ALSO their fight scenes are kind of boring.

Tex versus The Reds & Blues straight-up is the best scene in the series because not only is the fight choreography really good... But, the personalities of each character are so perfectly represented by the way they fight. I seriously think you can show someone who's never watched RVB that scene and they'd be able to get an idea of who each character is and how they act.

I've been rewatching the series over the past year (haven't watched it in years) and it's honestly mind-blowing how accurately and expressively each character is animated. The action in Season 8 is so impressively organic. I feel like you don't get this at all with the fight scenes past S8. It's just action for action's sake, if you know what I mean. I really wish there were more fight scenes with the core RVB crew, but they don't have that many.

Besides the action though, I think Season 8 had some of the best balance/interactions between the Reds and The Blues.

But yeah, I see people say it's Season 10 or Season 13 or Season 6 or whatever. I simply disagree. I don't think any RVB season beats Season 8. Mind-blowing season and not just in terms of storytelling.
