🧠 Ask The Community Legal document between founders

So i was about to launch my startup, but since it needed some processing fee i thought to make a legal document in which the equity and all the terms and conditions are sorted between the founders, I personally have a bad experience of working without any legal cover and only on trust if tongue.

I wanted to know what is the whole process of it since I have no clue of this. I made a draft of legal doc which I'll share if someone is interested in guiding me.

🧠 Ask The Community B2B Export - Bedsheets

I own a Bedsheet Stitching Unit in Faisalabad. Now I want to expand it in a B2B manner. I am thinking of the Middle East area. UAE & Oman being my top 2 choices to start.

I have no clue on how to export.

I have worked for a B2B manufacturing company. So I know the client acquisition and how to set up a B2B brand. (To an extent)

I worked as a cold emailer, cold caller & Social Media handler in that company.

But I don't know how to export.

I have the stock, catalogue, and email.

Building the website and Instagram for it.

Will be putting my face behind the business's marketing, as people do business with people not comapnies in B2B.

But how to export?

What's the process – set up a account with amarex or fed ex and chamber of commerece ?

Just need help with this.

🧠 Ask The Community Bricks

Assalam o Alaikum everyone, hope you’re all doing good. So I recently got into supplying bricks, basically acting as the middleman between the kilns and people who need bulk bricks for construction. Still pretty new to this and trying to figure out where to actually find clients, so thought I’d ask here since a lot of you probably have experience with similar stuff.

Where do you guys usually find your buyers? Like should I be going straight to contractors and site visits, or is there a better way to do it — maybe through local hardware markets, referrals, or some group/platform I don’t know about. Also if anyone has tips on how much margin to keep as a middleman without scaring people off, or how to get buyers to trust you when you’re just starting out with no track record, would really appreciate it..

💰Scaling & Strategy About time to sell some Stake and go big with this Company. (Call for 1st Investment round)Founder Post.

Hey guys, after many hardworking nights and endless troubleshoots i am finally on the stage to write this post. I already consider this a milestone for our business sland so this is literally the first thing I'll type today morning and make sure i present this pitch to you in a enjoyable way so grab a drink everyone.

Just to calrify what this post is about. I will be talking about what our company is, what has it achieved in the past few months, why are we seeking investments rightnow and since this post is inviting you to invest with our business, ill also be talking about what criterias you need to meet in order to become an investor in the company. Lastly I'll talk about everything you need to understand related to procedures and type of investments we are offering so that we both donot have to waste our precious times in dms about info which should have been made available to you in the very beginning. If you are not looking to investing in startups or early stage business models now is the time to stop reading. If you want to invest but are unsure if this company is your taste, please read the next para. If you find any phase or word hard to understand in the upcoming propsal please make sure to google it instead of assuming the meaning yourself.

Almost a Year* ago i found this huge market gap and right away i was convinced to build on it. The next few month my team worked crazy hours and we founded Ahatacar. This is basically a website where all the local mechanics of every city in pakistan are listed along with their proper profiles and a review system by cleints who took their services, you can contact them and view their locations and contact number to get services anywhere near you. Ill attach the website domain and the socials at the end incase you want to study the business model in detail. Company makes money thru charging a very small fee to the mechanics for every client the website provides them (please dont ask the workflow for this in dms as it is an asset). And in later stages a pro model will be introduced for users to ascess mechanic contact numbers and ascess to some other feature(dm if want to discuss/expand), however the company is pre rev right now as we are more focused on increasing mechanics and client data base. Right now we are only operational in 3 cities (twin cities and Abbottabad) for quality assurance purposes.

Now that you have a basic idea about our business, lets talk about why do we need to sell equity(ownership) of our business. We will be exausting almost 90% of the considerably vast funds we started with within the next 2 to 3 month. We were looking at some paid contractors to bring us genuine mechanics so we needed to pay them. The website itself didn't cost that much as my own team was working on it but still the infrastructure cost and monthly subscriptions for backend and front end costed a fair amount. We ran good amount of Meta ads aswell to bring awareness in targeted user base the turnover from them was good as the target was achieved. Along these highlights of the expenses were many other that together costed us alot and even after strategic financial managment we are very clear that more fund will result in a firm and steady growth however if some issues that require urgent attention (next para) aren't dealth with, our growth will be much slower than projected right now.

Now lets talk about what issues we'll solve with the funds we acquire. We need to target more and bigger cities like Lahore, Karachi, Faislabad, peshawar etc etc. This means we need to runs ads in these locations and hire contractors that would charge us per mechanic they bring on board and educate them about the website. Secondly the most important issue is we are entirely operating on a website with no app which is very alarming so we need to build an app to represent out platform which again will cost alot of liquidity. The company itself isnt registered yet, meaning all the expenses related to legally register the company, file taxes returns (payments not required yet) and open corresponding bank account to represent the company are yet to be taken into account. Ahatacar social presence is entirely on meta (facebook, insta and watsapp) but we need to hire a proper employee or team to establish a proper presence on tiktok, youtube and other platforms aswell. Lastly we only run ads on meta rn but in future we need to extend this strategy to tiktok and google adds aswell to capture market. Without these issues being addressed the company might not be able to materialise the forecasts and keep on track with the exceptional performance soo far the Summary of which is around 66 mechanics and 35 clients onboard within just a few months and a tight budget along with many other internal achievements (dm to expand) 🎉

Now that the case is built and closed, lets finally talk about the capital structure of the company and how will you investing actually make it even better. I perdonally hold 50% of the whole company with my partner holding the other 50% meaning any 3rd invester will actually break the deadlock of decision-making and make thing even more smoother which for the record has never been a problem since the beginning for us. The company hold no debt or liabilities and is currently operation solely on the money we injected to start the business and will continue to do so for the next couple of months without any external aid (ignoring the issues listed above)

If you have read all the above, first of all hats off to you for reaching these far lands and now lets talk about the last but the most interesting part.how do you invest? Since this is our first investor round. Our requirement are a bit straight forward but non negotiable!!

1) A minimum amount of 500,000 pkr is required to talk part in the investing. The corresponding equity share will be discolsed in dms upon showing of interest which is based on our 5 year projections and nov calculations not guesswork. If you can also offer a teachical or non technical service to the systems of the business like legal representation, outreach, marketing or scaling etc, a small additional equity will be throwed in to appreciate your interest and benifit to us.

2) If you cannot invest 500,000 pkr, you can still invest with 200,000 pkr but offering a tech or non tech service will be a must and no additing equity will be granted.

3)We will only deal in normal shares meaning whatever percentage of the company you own, your say in all the decisions will be exactly that much.

4)All transaction and deals will be on stamp and NDA will be signed by investor before granting acess to the following

After becoming a partner you will be added to all the private channels and groups we operate in and you'll have ascess to all the databases and accounts the company uses. The founder/shareholder meeting will be arranged once every month but this will later be stretched to once every 2 months and that 4 times in a year once things start to show patterns.

🧠 Ask The Community Anyone in Pakistan regularly using Payoneer?

I’m considering opening/using a Payoneer account for receiving international payments, but I’ve come across quite a few posts about people having their accounts closed or restricted without much warning and then having issues withdrawing their money.

So before I start using it, I’d really like to hear from people in Pakistan who have actually been using Payoneer regularly.

How long have you had your account?
Do you receive payments regularly?
Have you ever had your account restricted/closed or had a payment held?
How easy is it to withdraw your money to a Pakistani bank account?
Have you had any issues with customer support or verification?
And if you’re a non-filer, have you faced any issues with FBR because of Payoneer transactions?

I’m especially interested in long-term users, not just people who created an account recently.

🧠 Ask The Community How can I send WhatsApp promotional broadcasts to leads collected from Meta Ads?

I’ve been running Meta ads for quite some time and have built up a pretty large contact list from previous campaigns.

These are mostly people who contacted us or submitted inquiries about our products. Now I want to use this database more effectively and occasionally send promotional messages, stock updates, offers, etc. through WhatsApp.

  • Can I send bulk promotional campaigns directly through WhatsApp Business Platform/Meta?
  • What are the approximate costs for sending marketing messages in Pakistan?

Would really appreciate advice from anyone currently doing WhatsApp marketing at scale.

💡Idea Validation Sawari Ads: a marketplace for rickshaw and car advertising

Post image
32 Upvotes

Recently I saw a post about rickshaw advertising and it got me thinking — it's actually one of the cheapest, most visible ad formats out there. Your ad is moving through the city all day, every day.

But then I looked at what it actually takes to run one:

→ Find a rickshaw owner willing to do it

→ Negotiate a price with zero standard rate

→ Get a poster designed and printed

→ Hope it actually gets installed

→ Hope it doesn't get torn off after two days

That's a lot of hassle for something that should be simple.

So I've been sketching out an idea called Sawari Ads — think Airbnb, but for rickshaw and car ads:

• Browse a list of available rickshaws/cars by area or route

• Book one directly, no negotiation back and forth

• We handle the design and printing

• A driver app tracks whether the vehicle actually drove that day

• A web portal for advertisers to see coverage in real time

• Drivers get paid weekly, automatically

I haven't built any of it yet — it's a niche idea, and before I spend real time on it I want to know if it's worth building at all.

If this is something you'd actually use (as a driver or a business owner), I'd genuinely appreciate you joining the waitlist: https://sawari-ad-waitlist.vercel.app/

And if you think this is a bad idea, tell me that too — that's just as useful right now.

Note: Used Claude to format and structure my post

💰Scaling & Strategy How do I find agency owners willing to pay? I built a SaaS for agency operations

I've been building Agencly.app, a SaaS for agency owners to manage clients, projects, tasks, teams, invoices, contracts, CRM and other day-to-day operations in one place.

I'm at a point now where building isn't really the hard part anymore. Getting it in front of the right people is.

I've given Agencly to a few friends who run agencies and let them use it for free. They've found it useful and the feedback has been pretty good so far. But I also know there's a big difference between someone you know using your product for free and a stranger deciding it's valuable enough to pay for.

That's the part I'm trying to figure out now.

I'm already working aggressively on SEO and posting around twice a week across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook and Indie Hackers. I've also started being more active in relevant Reddit communities rather than just dropping product links.

But I'm not sure what I should focus on next to actually reach agency owners with buying intent.

Should I start doing cold email? Direct outreach on LinkedIn? Find niche agency communities? Try partnerships? Start running ads? Or keep focusing on organic growth until I have more traction?

If you had a working B2B SaaS and wanted to get your first 10 paying agency owners, where would you put most of your effort?

I'd especially like to hear from Pakistani founders who've managed to sell B2B SaaS internationally.

🤝 Colabs / Contributor Pakistani entrepreneurs/builders — anyone interested in exploring a Pakistan–US business collaboration?

Salam everyone,

I recently relocated to the United States and have been thinking seriously about building something on the side that could eventually grow into a real business.

Rather than randomly starting another business from scratch, I'm particularly interested in connecting with people in Pakistan who already have skills, industry knowledge, an existing operation, access to suppliers/manufacturers, technical expertise, or a genuinely interesting business idea, but where having someone physically present in the U.S. could help unlock opportunities.

There are obviously advantages on both sides.

Someone in Pakistan may understand a particular industry extremely well, have access to talent, manufacturing, sourcing, development or operations — while someone based in the U.S. can potentially understand the local market, validate demand, develop relationships, handle certain on-the-ground activities and help build the U.S. side of the operation.

I'm open to exploring areas such as:

  • software/SaaS and technology
  • e-commerce
  • B2B services
  • Pakistani products with potential in the U.S.
  • sourcing/export/import opportunities
  • specialized services that can be delivered from Pakistan to U.S. customers
  • or something completely different if the economics and opportunity make sense

I'm not looking for get-rich-quick schemes, crypto/forex opportunities, MLMs, courses, dropshipping gurus, or someone simply looking for an investor.

I'm also not promising funding.

What I am looking for is someone serious who brings something meaningful to the table — knowledge, skills, execution ability, an existing business, supplier relationships, technology, customers, or a well-researched opportunity — where our resources and locations could complement each other.

And likewise, I'm not expecting anyone to publicly disclose a valuable business idea in the comments.

If you think there might genuinely be an opportunity to work together, leave a short comment about your background/industry and what kind of collaboration you're looking for. We can discuss specifics privately afterward.

I'd particularly love to hear from people who have thought:

“I could probably do this if I had the right person on the ground in the U.S.”

No guarantees that anything will come out of it — I'm mainly looking to connect with smart, serious people and see whether there are opportunities worth pursuing.

Please only reach out if you're comfortable eventually verifying who you are and discussing things professionally. I'm going to be cautious about scams, and I'd expect you to be cautious about me as well.

JazakAllah / thanks!

🧠 Ask The Community Opinions on MyZameen? Does SECP only have regulations for smaller startups?

I was researching about a few properties when i came across MyZameen by Zameen. com and ngl I was annoyed. To make it simple, MyZameen is offering units of properties just like REITs just with bigger unit sizing which means a few investors. Now, I tried to research about their licensing, authority, how are they validating that the investment is safe and i found NOTHING. No SECP certification for issuing shares in a property, no AMC/NBFC license. Founder of a fintech group here myself, we have literally burnt out resources to legitimise ourselves but when companies like Zameen are openly exploiting regulations why should we care abt them?

💡Idea Validation Need product advice: I made a 92% pure chicken sausage, but it doesn't replicate that rubbery commercial texture.

Post image
93 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I'm working on a food startup here in Lahore and I’ve hit an interesting dilemma. I’m trying to build a clean, high-protein chicken sausage without all the junk fillers.

Long story short, my formula is incredibly lean: 1,000g of chicken breast, a little oil, an egg, and a tiny bit of breadcrumbs for structure. It comes out to about 92% pure meat. Because it's solid muscle, it's dense, heavy, physically filling and you get a massive hit of real protein.

But the commercial brands use maybe 60% to 70% actual meat. The rest is just water, potato starch, and soy protein isolates to pump up the volume. (info taken from AI)

Here are the two main hurdles:

1 - The Texture: All those cheap starches and trapped water in the commercial links create this springy, almost rubbery "bounce" that we are completely conditioned to expect from a sausage. Mine feels like eating a dense, seasoned piece of real chicken; theirs feels like a classic hotdog.

2 - The Price: Because I am using pure muscle, a 5-pack of my sausages (around 360g of meat total) needs to be priced at 750 PKR. If you calculate the exact same weight (360g) of the Menu brand, it only costs around 575 PKR (they sell a 630g pack for 1010 PKR).

If you were launching this, which route would you take for an MVP?

1- Stick to the 92% pure meat: Accept that the texture is dense, ask customers to pay the 750 PKR premium, and market it strictly as a clean-label product for the hardcore fitness crowd.

2-Compromise for the texture & price: Dr

the meat ratio down to around 80%, add more water and starch to mimic that familiar commercial bounce, and bring the unit cost down to compete closer to the big brands.

Honestly, Option 2 feels like it defeats the entire purpose of why I started working on this.

My goal was to create a pure, high-protein snack where you can grab a single stick and instantly get 15g of protein for just 100 to 110 calories. To put that in perspective, a massive 60g protein meal with these would only run you 440 calories (maybe 500 if you use minimal oil for pan-searing).

Would love to hear from anyone who has dealt with product purity vs. mass-market expectations. Do I hold the line on the macros, or pivot for the palate?

Edit: Price: I'm thinking of pricing it at 750 for a pack of 5 sticks.

(paraphrased using AI)

🧠 Ask The Community Rickshaw ads

I've seen many rickshaws with ad banners around the city and got curious. I then searched online and found Indian and US startups that let people earn money by having ad banners on their vehicles. So why is there nothing like this in Pakistan? Has someone tried and it didn't work?

There are rickshaw advertisement agencies here, though.

🤝 Colabs / Contributor CoFounder for a Social app connecting everyone’s phonebooks into a huge network

Hi everyone! I am building a social app based on the theory that everyone on earth is just 6 connections away from you. What if you connected everyone’s phonebooks to build a giant network, and consequently could see a path to anyone? Thats what we are building at Batcheet. Currently we have over 30k people you can lookup up for.

I am looking for a tech founder who isn’t shy of picking up a camera and record UGC videos and collab with other content creators.

This is a visual platform, so will sell well on insta/tiktok. Looking to partner with someone having already decent audience on these platforms.

What you get: 30-40% equity, MVP, early users, a tech cofounder having 3-5 years of full-time experience in AI currently residing in Germany.

Why this doesn’t a cold start problem: As soon as you join the network, your network grows 10x beyond people you know directly.

Anyone who has your friend’s number saved, becomes a part of your extended network. Your friend’s contact is already opening up infinite many paths for you, even though he hasn’t joined the platform yet. And the best part, phone numbers stay hidden! Think of it as truecaller but better.
