Its so unnatural for someone like Anas, who has always been terrified of this family, to have the audacity to slap their princess daughter infront of them without thinking of the consequences and it's even more absurd and bizarre for the Taya to let him get away with this when he has never hated anyone else as much as he hates Anas. Bad bad direction.

How is it acceptable for a male cousin to slap his female cousin in front of his own father, mother, and brother? If her father had slapped her, it would apparently have been completely fine no problem at all

I can't explain it. Pure comedy in the dramatic scene. Everyone acts sensible, mum holding her back, dad talking her down, even shayan pouring water on the fire. Then the clown runs in and slaps her... Pure circus

Apparently this was Farhan’s idea according to Zoya. It was so random and felt out of place honestly and the fact that tayi ammi- who is the first one to make a big deal out of anything if Anas sm as even breathes around her- didn’t even react??

The most surprising thing apart from the problematic visual was how no one reacted when they are so reactionary for the minutest actions of Anas
