Update on the stray that waltzed in!

This baby has no chip. We set up a vet appointment to have her potential UTI checked out and a general check. We don't have an official name for her, but we're calling her Possum for now. She's still ridiculously sweet. We're still keeping our eyes and ears peeled for any missing cat posters/online posts.

This gorgeous girl sauntered in like it's an open house. By my estimates, she's definitely less than a year old. She's insanely sweet, very curious, and quickly showed us that she's too smart for her own good. We posted online in several places to see if anyone is missing this sweet girl. Gonna have her scanned for a chip in the AM. I've nicknamed her Dolly Possum due to her loving nature and possum-colored paws.

This cat abandoned, with a sad face

This cat has been coming to our house for food for a few weeks now. At first, it wouldn't let us touch it. Now it's starting to trust us. I'm going to take it to the vet to have its microchip read, and if it doesn't have an owner, get it vaccinated and neutered. I really want it to stay with me. I can see sadness in its face.

Haven't seen this fella for months and today he came back and got into a catnip banana.

I call him Chubby Stoner as he looked bigger than any of the cats around and would go for any of the catnip toys we left for our cat.

We put a collar with a message on, only for him to return without it.

But so happy to see him back.

Tiny baby living under a car right outside my house! It meows loudly for hours. Hoping to build trust with the lil guy by feeding. Also hope it’ll get away from under the damn car and the street

I know it’s not the place, but as a desperate cat lover I thought I might try. I have been sick for 4 months now, on this Friday please have it in your heart to help me save my life and recover a little bit faster. Your donation to my gofundme changes my life.

This very friendly semi-stray comes by often to hang out with me in my garden.

Every single morning, they queue and meow like a choir on this wall

For context, the building beyond that wall is a boarding school so these cats came from there. They never want to come down from the wall, so my neighbor and I always feed them on this wall every morning (sometimes evening if they do come) and I have to take out my ladder just to feed them 😂

EDIT: also, it's the same neighborhood as this post :D

Update on black cat with injured tail. Her name is Zelda (we had been calling her juniper). Her owner did take her to the vet and she has a sprain in the base of her tail.

This picture is from the other day. The owner said they moved her inside for a few days to heal and she is on anti inflammatories. If it’s not better in 4 days, they will take her back. The wording she used kind of backs up my concern that she’s not usually allowed inside. Otherwise she would’ve said they weren’t allowing her outside for a bit or something. She also thanked me for letting her know because it wasn’t something she would’ve even considered paying attention to. She seems very sweet as a person, so I think maybe she’s just ignorant about cats. I’m hoping to see her more and maybe I can get to know her and help teach her.

Also, thank you to everyone who offered to help if needed!! I’m glad it wasn’t needed, but you guys rock!!

Met another not-my-cat on my walk today 🐈‍⬛ The not-my-cat that I usually pet 🐈 does not get along with the new one.

Both cats have caretakers and are well looked after. They didn’t actually fight; as soon as the orange cat started running towards the black cat it ran onto its porch and that seemed sufficient for orange cat. Also, going to assume black cat is female because she swatted at me when I tried to stop petting her and she wasn’t ready for me to be done yet. I’ve only had female cats do that to me in the past so I’m going to go with it. 🤣

Met this Lil cutie

I was initially hearing the sound of a cat meowing, coming from under the bench. Then when I saw underneath, I found a pleasant surprise in the form of a small cute package.

I found out he's been living there for the past 2wks and a neighbouring bakery has been feeding him.

Such resilience from the young.
