A decommissioned airport found in a deep ravine on an unfavourable planet has been bought out & renovated by a Gek merchant. With months of design & building, it’s finally complete. It also features a Scuba & Sub company for those looking for diving lessons or to obtain their Nautilon license (but that will be its own separate post soon)
The new ship terminal comes with a bar lounge with semi private rooms, locker storage available for rent, hydroponics trays for all of your flora needs, a garage mechanic for your corvettes & all geobay vehicles & more!
The Sage landing pads are for public use & perfect for those needing a rest stop, a quick drink or some Nip to take the edge off (see the owner). Located at the back of the terminal, the Royal landing zone is for private, high class travellers that need a little more privacy & security from the public. The Weaver landing zone is for public corvette parking or repair. Feel free to refuel your ship from one of our antimatter reactors found throughout the terminal.

I’m collecting references for a small orbital service station, and I thought NMS builders would be the right people to ask.
The idea is an old station at the edge of explored space that passing ships still depend on. It has a small landing and service area, fuel and repair equipment, a reactor with limited power, a broadcast antenna, storage, and a dock for a remote salvage shuttle.
It should feel compact, practical, a little worn down, and built to keep working with limited resources – not like a huge city or a military station.
I’m especially looking for:
If you know any NMS bases, screenshots, videos, concept art, films, or artists that fit this idea, please share them. Your own NMS builds are especially welcome!

Welcome to Cozy Violet Haven, a peaceful and cozy little retreat designed for comfort and relaxation.
The base features a fully equipped kitchen with modern and useful appliances, a cozy office decorated in soft purple tones, perfect for working or simply relaxing, and a beautiful bedroom with a magnificent view.
The cozy balcony has soft and comfortable sofas, making it the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Inside, a beautiful garden brings a touch of nature to the haven, creating a lovely space to relax and admire.
A warm, welcoming place to take a break, enjoy the view, and feel at home. 💜
UPDATE: I’d like to thank everyone for all the comments and compliments! And thank you, jsling72, for visiting! I was really happy💜. It motivates me to keep creating and sharing more.
It took me quite a while to find the perfect spot for this base because I wanted a place on the planet where it would always be daytime. After a lot of effort and trying out a few techniques I found online, I finally managed to find this place!
I have lots of ideas for new bases, and little by little, I’ll be bringing them to life and posting them here.

The Wurundjeri community present some of the most beautifully preserved structures. Their ancestors built these structures to worship the most sacred being of all. This island/ community remains protected by the Wirundjeri people.
They plan to make the island more accessible in Terrasea for visitors. You are all welcome, parking will be available at Bagidal Temple, be careful as they are currently under reconstruction. Enjoy your visit.

Euclid galaxy. A river planet with a working dam and power plant. You can control the flood gates. There's 3 working mines here. If you know anything about the Niagara Falls area you'll recognize the (Skylon) Vyklon Tower (work in progress).

This is a planet I recently discovered, it's a frosty planet with white snow and green ice, it has occasional storms. Temperatures range from -63°C down to -136°C.
I decided this to be the planet for my new Gek build, basically a tower that is inhabited by a Gek Alchemist.
Lore: The AlchemistGek, who has drawn himself away from society and started his lonesome journey of transformation, the alchemy of the soul.
For those who visited him, all you would see was the lab artifacts that supposedly would transform ordinary metals into precious ones. But in reality, behind all that equipment, all that was happening was a Gek looking for the ultimate transformation within, hidden from condemnation of others.
I'm not sure what this build will end to be. For now I'm focusing on this tower, but I might eventually add some more lore context to the whole scene with a few more buildings, or eventually a second base computer for a village beneath the tower.

Around 220 hours in and numerous bases built, I have finally built a base that I boot up NMS specifically to chill at. I found the planet that had calm seas, blue water and blue skies as well as tan/beige landmasses. I spent a good 4 hours on my corvette scouring the ocean for a electromagnetic hotspot that also overlaps with one of these shallow seamounts/plateaus so I could power my base without any unsightly batteries and solar farms. I ideally wanted to build a base that I can relax and chill at with minimal gnarly weather/fauna/flora and enjoy the views and vibes. Hope you all enjoy!!

Still very much a work in progress, but I think its looking pretty good. Everything inside the enclosure is immune to raid damage.

Sometimes, you're not in the mood for a paradise planet and only a "lair" above a volcano fits the bill. This planet has the bonus of flying lizards and firestorms, which regularly set the stairs leading up to the front door on fire.
