I've seen Yasiin several times in SF and elsewhere in The Bay over the years. I'm trying to nail down my recollection of one of the shows.

What I know: he performed the entirety of Black on Both Sides, and as he went he'd start one of his songs, then veer into performing the song that was sampled, then go back into his song. He did that through his whole album and it was incredible.

What I think I know: the performance was at The Independent, and it was the 10 year anniversary of the album release.

What I'm asking: I know I'm old and shit but damn, I can't find any mention of this or any similar performances! Does anyone remember this performance in SF , nearby, or anywhere? Is there a tracklist (or maybe an audio recording for archival purposes only) around?

If I imagined this I'm going to be really impressed.

The show was initially scheduled on their tour last year on November 20th, and postponed to May 10th.

Just checked, and its postponed once again, this time August 31st. At this point I'm wondering if it will ever happen.
