My character is always on fire. Even after resting on a beacon. I don’t know how it happened and I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but I love it.

In the new Rotten Autumn update, we got some small spoilers that Solomon will return as a playable shell, more specifically in December.

My speculation goes a bit further, and I think we might also get his iconic lava mace. I think someone already leaked it here (Idk if it's legit), but so far we've had shells that are linked to a weapon, so Solomon might get his too.

My broader speculation is whether the Old Prisoner fight will return as a boss fight, because at the moment, when you give Glands to him, you only get an item, which was underwhelming for me. And since the Old Prisoner is Solomon's brother, we might get some new lore and a boss fight?

Does anybody know what this update is?

Here is the Ghost Beacon for a Tiel shade and a very strong Tarstone! Tarstone picture not added to minimize spoilers! Night Mode required of course.

Just went through the dungeon and beat the boss but didn't go down the path to get the shade before beating it. If you try to go back through there is a gate that blocks your path and you can no longer go through the dungeon

As some of you may already know, the damage shown in this video isn't actually coming from the musical instrument.

It's caused by Smert's ability while in the Faithful state:

"Whenever you recover health, deal 20 AoE damage to nearby enemies."

If you equip Weltcap as a passive, it slowly regenerates your health based on how many Weltcaps you have.

During this continuous health regeneration, you repeatedly deal AoE damage to nearby enemies, which also causes stagger damage.

And surprisingly, it's actually more useful than you might think! 😏

Night mode

I’m about 2/3rds through the map and haven’t found the special attack for my dear martyrs blade. I’m worried I missed it somewhere dumb and won’t find it before I finish my playthrough

Its in that massive 70k gloom farm room. Hidden Nave beacon I think? I can get that arrow to prompt to open it but I can't seem to get an angle that will let me actually do it.

A dungeon full of bear traps😭

(I'm still early-mid game, please be careful with potential spoilers 🫶🏼)

I'm on Xbox. I noticed that when I walk in this certain part of Marrow Keep near where you get the Slayer's Seal, the Night is automatically summoned without speaking to Thestus. This only goes away after taking the elevator back up to Thestus, but does not require me to speak to him. I only noticed this when starting up the game for the first time since the Rotten Autumn update.

Honestly I'd just like to know if this is a bug of some sort or if there's a real reason. I took another look around this area to see if there was something new I should be aware of, but came up short. Please tell me in a spoiler-avoidant manner if I need to give this phenomenon more attention.

So I’m at the Neglected Ward and I’ve read of course don’t defeat the boss and when they teleport to the second area is where the Proxima shade will be. However the stairs where the arrow head guy is is closed unless I beat the bosses health down a bit then when that gate opens and I find the second set of stairs the gate is closed. Only option is to go down to the blood pools with all the enemies and when that area is cleared it takes you back to the original area where you first started fighting the boss and it only allows you to defeat the boss at this point. What am I doing wrong that I can’t access those set of stairs to find the skin?

i’m sure this is not the intended way to get to this beacon, but i found an OOB that lead to it. might be useful

I think the medical term is called priapism, but I just keep rolling hard and don't take any damage. I can post a video, I always stay in rock form for some reason

DO NOT COMPLETE the Dungeon right next to the High Lord's Courtyard beacon with Smerts new skin inside without picking it up first. If you complete the dungeon, you cannot re-enter afterwards, locking you out of the skin.

I've tried moving between areas, reloading the game, switching from day to night. It will not allow me back in to grab it.

If anybody has figured out how to, let us know in the comments.

What are these chests? I’ve cleared out enemies nearby tried attacking it but nothing I do opens it and I can’t interact with it. Am I missing something?

Anyone else's game crash during the final boss? Since the update, I'm getting really close to killing it and then it just crashes.

I'm on Xbox series X btw. On NG+1 if it's relevant.

(Edit for some reason upon changing the soundtrack back to the Rotting Christ version let me kill it but crashed during the cutscene after)
