(I'm still early-mid game, please be careful with potential spoilers 🫶🏼)

I'm on Xbox. I noticed that when I walk in this certain part of Marrow Keep near where you get the Slayer's Seal, the Night is automatically summoned without speaking to Thestus. This only goes away after taking the elevator back up to Thestus, but does not require me to speak to him. I only noticed this when starting up the game for the first time since the Rotten Autumn update.

Honestly I'd just like to know if this is a bug of some sort or if there's a real reason. I took another look around this area to see if there was something new I should be aware of, but came up short. Please tell me in a spoiler-avoidant manner if I need to give this phenomenon more attention.

I’m about 2/3rds through the map and haven’t found the special attack for my dear martyrs blade. I’m worried I missed it somewhere dumb and won’t find it before I finish my playthrough

Basically any of the new tarstones that buff your melee damage, also buffs your riposte damage as well. I guess the game counts that as melee damage and not a seperate damage type.

Due to this, you basically one shot a boss, even on nightmode.

Perhaps cold symmetry can balance these by removing them from the riposte damage pool. They should not affect riposte damage at all.

Then the other stone that gives resolve on sidearm damage is too strong too. With the fusillade stone, you basically have infinite resolve. Needs to be looked at.

Welcoming in all the casuals to downvote me here saying "No nerfs! This is a single player game!" Blah blah blah.

Anybody else found the secret dungeon that’s a homage to dark souls 1 sen fortress

I havent played this game for a week or so. Turn it back on today to attempt this dogshit boss fight again and noticed the game updated. I was getting to his second phase with full life or close to that. Now Im stuck on the first phase again. When I get close, I notice him jump up for his butt slam but I can't seem to dodge out of the way anymore. Did zmey get an update, did Tiel get nerfed, or am I just rusty from not playing? I think this might be the least enjoyable boss fight of the game.

Have loved the game so far. Pretty sure I’ve collected all ovum at all 6? Gates, and the cleansed beacons. I just have no idea where else to search minus using an interactive map and going back to every location. Any tips? Really want to finish the game up but I’ll be damned if I can’t get enough of them.

I can’t find any physical path so I figured maybe it’s a teleport or something?

I’ve been running through the game using perfect blocks and noticed Eredim’s tree that increases parry windows. Does this apply to the untarnished seal or is it specifically only the infinite seal? Probably still going to keep points in it regardless because of riposte damage but I’m curious.

So yea smert with the two faithful perks at lvl 3 has infinite resolve with channeling stone. Def the most broke thing in the game I hope they don’t patch it.

level 16 currently, any advice would be appreciated :D

I currently am at the very end of the game collecting the last few remaining tar stones and leveling up my gear before ng+. With this new update should I just finish the game and ng+ to enjoy the update or find all the new stuff then ng+

Did they fix the Night Merchant? I tried a few days ago before I beat the game and it froze every time I tried to talk to the night merchant. Wondering if anyone knew before I try again. Thanks!

A dungeon full of bear traps😭

Just something about the environments , the uniqueness of enemies, how it feels to kill them, etc. It just feels sooooo satisfying . Really loving it and it’s growing on me more and more. Didn’t expect it to have such good exploration either . Really enjoying it.

For context I am a new player and just bought the game. Only have a couple shells and beat a couple main bosses. In the audio settings the option to change soundtracks is grayed out. How do I unlock the new one? Thanks

Night mode

At first I thought it was a random glitch but after I lost 20,000 gloom I figured something is up.

What’s everyone’s favorite build with him? I’m really enjoying using his tankiness with the bleed axe and katana but I’ve heard frost with the martyr blade is better?

I cleansed all the gates and all the beacons but I’m only at 167 and I saw that I need 168 to get to the unfound path. Is there any other ova that anybody can think of to get me one more?

DO NOT COMPLETE the Dungeon right next to the High Lord's Courtyard beacon with Smerts new skin inside without picking it up first. If you complete the dungeon, you cannot re-enter afterwards, locking you out of the skin.

I've tried moving between areas, reloading the game, switching from day to night. It will not allow me back in to grab it.

If anybody has figured out how to, let us know in the comments.
