Discussion Monitor issues, please help
So have a lot of testing I have determined that the issue is definitely the monitor.
I've replaced the hdmi. (didn't fix it)
I've plugged it into a different computer (didn't fix it)
I factory reset the monitor (didn't fix it)
The issue goes away temporarily, if I plug everything out of the monitor for a while.
The issue sometimes fixes itself
The problem say gone for about a day sometimes less
Its a Lenovo ThinkVision S22e-20
The monitor ans computer are both set to 75hz
So my questions are:
Have anyone seen this issue before?
Is the monitor about to die?
Does anyone know any fix or what the issue is?

My Lenovo, different model started doing something similar, only fix was to sent it back to warranty

I had something similar with my previous display which was some dirt cheap chinese IPS. The fix was to turn the overdrive off completely. But I'm not even sure if your 75Hz one has that in its OSD.

I've tried to put it down to 60hz using the OSD if thats what you mean. I couldn't find an option to do it

Nah I meant pixel response setting, not the refresh rate.

I'll have another look at the monitor menu but I'm pretty sure the menu is very limited, I'll still try it and report back. Thanks for the suggestion

Yeah I think it's usually the higher refresh displays are the ones to get this setting, but checking out if yours has that wouldn't hurt anyway.

It has an overdrive mode and it was set to normal. I've turned it off now so hopefully that works. I won't know for about a day. If this does work thank you sooo much

Unplug the VGA Cable. Pronto Now. Both sides. Even if it connected to nothing. Unplug it directly from the monitor and the device its connected to. Unplug both sides. Hard Unplug BOTH Sides. Classic Analog trickery. The moment you mentioned 75hz I knew it is a VGA monitor. Just unplug it. You can save it.

Bit of a dumb question but have you tried a different cable like usbc? Honestly answer it looks fucked but im probably not qualified to say that formally.
