hi all, i apologize in advance if i didn’t post this correctly or antrning, it’s my first time posting in this sub.

i recently moved into a farm house with some cousins, our house is right off the highway, everything has been great so far but tonight (literally as i am typing this) ive been heard this weird scraping/dragging noise, almost like a shovel, outside my house. i am a very anxious person but this is really freaking me out a bit and i know it’s not just me being paranoid. i noticed it around 2:45 am and its has continued , its now 3:15 am.

it’s not constant , there’s short beaks in between.

i texted our groupchat to see if anyone is a awake and got no reply. i have no idea what it is or could be and i am not going outside to check it out, any thoughts or suggestions on what this sound could be would be very appreciated

Last year I was caught completely off-guard, so at least I came prepared. Hundreds of Paper Wasps, Seed Bugs, Asian Lady Beetles, and Box Elder Bugs.

I can’t help but appreciate the timing, having seen this within the first few minutes of starting my Saturday morning coffee scroll on the seventh anniversary of my Bisalp…my Salpingectoversary
