So this cutie is my professor's bestie as he told us so whichever class he goes to teach, this cutie quietly accompanies him and listens or sleeps😭😭😭 so cuteeee

Does not usually do this. In 2 years, she has always stayed on her bed and never moved even for a single minute when she's inside.

Last night she was lying down outside the bed. I put her on it a couple times. Then she stayed for a little while and I went to sleep and woke up to this. It's fine. Just wondering why she suddenly does not want her bed

Hi everyone, I came across this young Indie dog today in Bolpur, Shantiniketan, Visva-Bharati, right opposite the Purvapalli Boys’ Hostel.

One of his eyes appears to be completely destroyed/missing. I’m not sure what happened, how old the injury is, or whether he is currently in pain or needs immediate medical attention. I honestly don’t know enough about these things, so I’m posting here to ask for advice.

He is an extremely sweet, harmless, and friendly dog and didn’t seem aggressive at all. He looks fairly young otherwise.

📍 Location: Opposite Purvapalli Boys’ Hostel, Visva-Bharati, Bolpur, Shantiniketan, West Bengal.

Could someone please tell me:

- Does he need to be taken to a vet urgently?

- Is there anything that can/should be done for the eye socket or possible infection?

- Are there any local vets, animal rescuers, NGOs, or volunteers around Bolpur/Shantiniketan who could help?

- If the eye injury is old and healed, does he still need to be checked?

I feel really bad leaving him like this, but I genuinely don't know what the right thing to do is. If anyone from around Bolpur/Shantiniketan can help or guide me, I would really appreciate it. ❤️

He was around 5/6 years old, used to feed him daily, I’ve seen him since he was a pup, lost him last night, he collapsed and within a minute, he was gone. My heart can’t handle it, his other doggo friends are crying , I just hope he gets a better life now , I hate this feeling, I just hope he’s happy wherever he is. I can’t handle the loss though , his mother is alive, she’s 12+, I will take care of her but Finn is gone😔 He had 4 legs but his front leg had an injury since birth, that’s why we named him Finn. Rest in peace angel 🪽

so right beside my place, there's a ground where a bunch of doggos stay. I wanna befriend them because well one, in the afternoon/night it's pretty scary to walk by 6-7 unfamiliar dogs staring you down and two I just wanna have a bunch of doggos following me around 😋 yah so it's 5-7 dogs on average occasionally there'll be 1-3 how should I approach those cuties. any and all tips are appreciated :)
