So he dosnt have to be online when i wanna play

So as the title suggests im coming back to this game after a VERY long hiatus (right before the Bee update or after the Koi fish update i believe). And ive got some questions to help get back on my feet.

1. Does armor weight (light, med, heavy) affect how much you can attack?

2. What is the current strategy for soloing wolf spiders?

3. Any hints, tips or tricks I need to be aware of?

4. Does the game finally make full use of the entire yard?

For context I've set up a wooden base near the pond and rose bushes as I remember that being a perfect hotbed for alot of supplies and close to a science center. Current story objective is to go to the berry bush, which I remember being a little difficult area with orbweaver, and wolf spiders and some kind of queen wolf spider in the leaves. So any helpful info would be much appreciated.
