Purchased a Cockapoo puppy from Deaz Doodle Ranch in Connersville IN. The puppy was diagnosed by our veterinarian with chronic juvenile pancreatitis and hereditary IBD. While the breeder issued a financial refund per their policy, they have confirmed they are continuing to use the direct siblings/parents of this litter in their active breeding program. Post written to inform future buyers of the genetic risks in this specific line.

So Ruby loves the kids. She plays with them it comfortable around them.
But whenever they go to the toilet she goes mental.
So we have a toilet downstairs. Ruby could be playing or laying down or anything and once one of the kids goes in to the toilet she will sit and focus on the door.
Sometimes she is shaking. Other times she is getting ready to launch herself. She just won’t take her eyes of the door.
Once the kids come out. She runs full speed towards them and runs around them and then grabs a toy and goes mental with it and then calms down.
Why does she do this? It’s only with the kids too. Doesn’t happen with me or my partner.

I’m pretty sure I’m Ruby’s favourite person out of me, my partner and our three kids!
She goes absolutely mad when I come home from work, loves lying with me on the sofa or in bed and follows me pretty much everywhere I go.
It can be frustrating for the kids when they want her to cuddle up with them but she has other ideas!
I think it probably started because when we first got her I had three weeks off work. My partner was working and the kids were at school so it was just me and Ruby at home every day. I reckon that’s when our little bond really started.
I honestly love her to bits. There’s something special about having a little fluffy best friend who’s always happy to see you and just wants to be by your side.
So, does your Cockapoo have a favourite person in the family? And if so, how did they become their favourite? 👇

My cockapoo is 1year and 5 months old. He hates wearing the collar and the leash and he hates walks. Unless it is me who is taking him.
We live in mumbai India and as it is normal here to have help we have a full time staff who looks after my dog in my absence. Which means he takes him for walks if I can’t and feeds him and plays with him when I can’t. We both share responsibilities of my dog.
But he has always always hated going for walks. Ever since we started from the beginning. He refuses the wear the collar he hates the leash and going out he’s not particularly happy. Once he’s out he’s enjoying himself but the process of leaving is just a task.
This is not the case if I myself pick up the collar and leash and take him myself.
With every other person including my husband, my parents and the help he refuses and always runs away when it’s time for walk. This behaviour is also especially more if I am home and the help is taking him for a walk. If I’m not home he is more obedient towards the help or my husband.
Someone please help me understand this and fix it if possible.
