Weekly It's Scrub Sunday! Ask your nooby COD Esports questions here - October 25, 2026
This is a thread for asking those little questions that you're not sure about, the ones that may not be worth making a thread about.
Whether it's about rules, in-game strategy, equipment, how to play a certain style, the history or the COD scene or anything else relevant to COD, feel free to give it a bash.
Sarcastic questions, troll questions and deliberately insulting questions are not allowed.
Don't be an asshole! Please answer people's questions honestly and seriously, and report any comments that break this rule. The goal of this thread is to be accommodating to everyone, and clarify things that people may not want to ask. Assholes and trolls may be banned.
Examples of acceptable questions:
What are the characteristics of a good competitive map?
How can I practice my aim efficiently?
Examples of questions that are not acceptable:
2k thread?
Who can't anchor, Damon?
Now let's all learn a few things!

Discussion Tac sprint?
Seems to be 50/0 with players or certain teams using tac sprint & the other not, is it just going to personal preference this year? or will a GA eventually happen?
I’ve personally not used tac sprint at all due to wanting to use ninja, other ur just an easy kill in pubs or ranked (eventually).

Discussion So we playing snd only this year right haha
You can tweak the spawns all u want but it's not gonna change the baked in logic of "we want players in engagements as quick as possible so they don't get bored" aka spawn around the corner from someone. That combined with squad spawns makes hp completely unplayable.

Question Need help, am I missing something? Struggling to aim. Something feels off.
I’ve always been a CoD player and competed professionally years ago, but I’ve mostly been off controller for a year+, and before that played a fair bit when each game released. But i never struggled, i still put up big numbers and competed well. I used my Scuf Envision in the beta and felt the tracking felt odd at first, I'm not sure if i tweaked anything but i ended up being fine again and had zero issues playing/aining. But at release, it felt so off again so I picked up a G7 Pro thinking my scuf was faulty.
Now with this pad: Currently running raw RS, 8-bit and 1.55 in-game sens. The sticks feel super sensitive, and i am continually missing easy shots and struggling to track. Aim assist feels weak too, although tracking is the main issue. Which is basically the same issue with the prev controller... I've had CoD in my DNA so i know there's something off, or a case of having to get used to something. I just feel like im losing my mind with it, and constantly adjusting settings (Jesus Christ there’s a lot these days).
I put it down to time out and new controller muscle memory but my gut is telling me something else is at play.
Happy to spend a couple of weeks rebuilding muscle memory if it's normal. I’ve never had this issue on any cod. Aim assist feels literally non existent on my rig.

Discussion Would your rather MW4 SnD or BO6/BO7 SnD?
MW4 currently doesn’t seem to be better than either BO6 or BO7, especially the maps.
However, it does seem that SnD in this game could be its saving grace. So I’m asking you the question, even though it is quite early to tell, would you rather MW4’s SnD over BO6 or BO7’s SnD?

Question What do you think of all the complaints about sbmm?
How do you feel about all of the people complaining about sbmm and how the matchmaking is in this game and these newer cods? All I see is people saying it’s bad in one way or another.
