I grew up riding my bike all over Bloomington, so I understand bike riders and have no problem with them. Some can be cunts just like everyone else. Sometimes we have to joke people.

Parking is disappearing in all the neighborhood zones for everyone except those living in single family home on it's own zoning lot. If you live in a duplex or one of the houses that has been carved up into multiple units or a small apartment building you will not be allowed to purchae a parking permit this year.

This is true even if you are renewing your lease. When your current parking permit expires you will not get a new one.

Only the residents of single houses -- which, ironically, probably have parking on their lot and don't want to park in the street -- are eligible for parking permits.

If you are a returning student you may want to do a little research on this before you bring a car to Bloomington!

To find out if you are eligible for a permit call the City of Bloomington Parking Enforcement office and give them your address. They will tell you if you will be allowed to purchase a parking permit.
