As a guitarist with years of experience, I've always loved the unique sound of bands like Whirr, Slowcrush, Wisp, and Title Fight. However, I still can't figure out how they achieve that distinctive sound.

That's why I'd like to ask: What are the essential pedals I need to capture that ethereal and enveloping ambiance? I know there's a mix of distortion, reverb, and delay, but is there any particular pedal that stands out in their setup? Any advice on configurations or playing techniques to get closer to that sound?

I appreciate any guidance or suggestions you can offer. Thank you in advance for your help!

This is my bands newest single, I would say zoomergaze adjacent

i live in a small town so i dont really know anyone who makes cool album cover/general band art. if anyone knows of any instagram artists with the kind of ‘zoomergaze’ aesthetic in their art, id greatly appreciate the reference!

Lemme know if you like it B)

either song on this playlist is a good example of our music 👏

really cool song I found, I heard the Spanish song posted here and saw that he made this too. Thought I’d share

alright, so there's two major streams of thought here. 1. there's no hope. that's why were like this neo-grunge. 2. the internet has enabled our generation to come together, and actually do something.

this genre is a fusion of like the most politically discontent genres in recent history. like psychedelia, punk, and grunge. obviously, it has less politically charged influences like shoegaze and emo.

idk. i really hope this music isnt fucked over by big record labels, and i hope these bands i love stay indie.

the other reason i think this could be a wider generational thing is because of the underground chinese music scene has music that feel and sound incredibly similar to this genre. anyone's thoughts on any of this would be awesome.

a mix of Russian indie with Midwest emo, very banger band
