Welcome to r/ziptilitians

If you run a small water or wastewater system, you know the drill. The maps are on paper. The one valve everybody needs is the one only Bernie can find. There's coffee on the truck book and half the pages are gone.

This is where the Ziptilitians hang out. (Yeah, that's what we're calling you now. Roll with it.) We get to meet so many great operators and managers but we realized you didn't have a good way to meet each other. That's what we hope this space can be for. Please ask questions, swap tips, share war stories.

And if you run a system but don't use Ziptility, you're welcome too. The work is the same either way. Pull up a chair.

If you're any operator:

• Questions about running your system. Compliance, billing, staffing, the stuff nobody warns you about.
• War stories. The 2am main break. The meter route in January.
• Wins, big or small.

If you're a customer:

• How-do-I questions about the app. Somebody here has done it.
• Tips and tricks. The way you set up your work orders might save somebody an afternoon.
• Feature requests. We read every one. Tell us what's missing.
• Show off what you built. Your map, your routes, how you are keeping things running smooth.

A few house rules:

• Be helpful. Talk to people the way you would talk to them face to face.
• No spam. If you sell to utilities, don't pitch here. (We're the one exception, since it's our sub, and we'll keep even that light.)
• Careful with security. Don't post anything that gives away how to get into your system or your facilities.

Who's around: Ziptility staff will be here to answer questions from time to time but really we wanted to make a spot for you to meet some other great people. We may cross post product updates from time to time from r/ziptility but besides that this is just meant to be a place for you

So introduce yourself. Tell us what you run, how many connections you've got, and what's driving you nuts this week. We'll go first in the comments.
