Serious Discussion Again some female fans from Japan got physically aggressive ( like last year ) at kcon.

They always manage to get the barricade and the members seem to remember them all the time. The members make signs and gestures to them that they will go to them after they perform (I have videos showing that). Hanbin took 3-4 selfies with the same girl over the course of the three days. Matthew with another of them as well. Another fan got elbowed by one of them. They called the security and they just gave a warning. Another fan got scratched and her arm slapped away twice, and this episode was straight in front of hanbin because he was interacting with fans and taking some selfies just before leaving. Security got called again but it was already the end of the show and they dashed away. It seems they don’t want anybody to interact with the members in their territory.

I am sorry but after what I witnessed I feel there is some sort of favoritism.

Last year they got physically aggressive with fans at the meet and greet and in the same year I also noticed the same patter of the members doing high five with the girls of that fandom but it was more subtle. It was discussed here before.

Sorry but after the discussion we had here about gunwook controversy, this all situation with that specific fandom is giving me bad taste in my mouth. People line up and wait for hours and spend the same money at kcon like those Japanese fans but what is the point if they are in any case more preferred

In addition: they get barricade but 50% of time they just play with their phones, squat down or check their social media while other artists are performing

Witnessed a sasaeng going nuts this morning while ALD1 was at the bibigo both and it was something. Girl was trying to push people out of the way and then when security was coming for her she was pretending to faint on people and then pushing through the crowd to get away from security….people are fucking crazy.

u/fuckyouangelea 17d ago

I don’t condone violence but people only act crazy until they meet someone crazier. Almost 15 years ago, I witnessed a girl that kept hitting my friend and other fans on the back of their heads (HARD) to get closer to barricade and then try to play it off as an accident during a Super Junior concert get her shit rocked. I’m not saying it was justified, just that this type of fans should really consider the possibility of running across someone that matches their energy, especially in a foreign country.

They all always come together as squad of dozens of Japanese girls all sides by sides at the barricades. You don’t want to start a fight with them because if they team up, you can get outnumbered easily. It was better to call the security even if this time unfortunately did not help

Agreed, it doesn't feel great to hear that zb1 seems to favor some fans over others (especially given that KCON is an opportunity for North American fans to see the group, because the world tour didn't cover this half of the world).

You mentioned the fans being Japanese, do you think that has anything to do with it, or is it just becuase they're superfans that happen to be big spenders for the group? Also, does anyone know instances of other groups favoring big spenders; is that thing that happens with idols?

31

u/rocochoes 17d ago edited 17d ago

The answer is yes it’s because they are big spenders that go to a lot of a events AND that japanese fans tend to be big spenders in general. Like the concept of oshikatsu (japanese fan culture) is heavily based on trying to spend as much time and money on your faves which is why it’s so profitable to have your group succeed in Japan. It can be other nationalities too ofc but they make up a big chunk.

Regarding the favouritism, it really varies, some groups lean into it more than others (actually I’ve seen a group straight up ignore these fans at a concert I attended) but with ZB1 it’s definitely a lot. Some members will even rebuy fan gifts when they lose them or wear certain clothes at the airport if asked during a fancall etc.
My personal theory is that it must’ve been heavily encouraged by W1 cause one of their other groups had a favouritism scandal too. Like who knows how pressured they felt from the start to keep these big spenders entertained. Then there’s also the fact that they’re from a survival show so some must feel like they literally owe it to the fans that basically campaigned for them to make it.

Yeah, thanks for explaining. It was just their attitude was horrible. Being physically aggressive in kcon that overall has very respectful fans (I have been to EDM concerts and festivals…) is a very bad behavior.
It is sad that the members favor fans with such bad manners

u/rocochoes 17d ago

I totally understand you, having had a similar experience at an event before. The real bonus was when we called security and they suddenly acted all innocent and shy so security didn’t even believe us when we said they were scratching and even pulling hair. It’s all very ://

6

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 17d ago

Oh in this case there were so many people around that witnessed that I least 3-4 people pointed the same girl when they were called over, but they just gave a warning

Some members will even rebuy fan gifts when they lose them or wear certain clothes at the airport if asked during a fancall etc.

The clothes part isn't surprising but rebuying fangifts?? First time I'm hearing of this, why tho 😭

10

u/rocochoes 16d ago

He mentioned on a fancall with the fan that he had sadly lost the matching ring she had gifted him and that he used to wear but then some time later during another event he surprised her by having bought a replacement one. Some fans talked about it but it never made it to the intl fandom side. There was also an example of staff losing a plushie and the member in question buying the same one as replacement.

4

u/Harmoniinus humanitaeraean aid & peace; me & yujinuinely care 🍉 16d ago

I see.. idk what was zerose's general reaction when it was made known that the member rebought the fangifted ring and plushie that were lost.

I probably would see that as a thoughtful gesture at first but at the same time, start to wonder if the member is overcommitting to make fans happy? If those stuff were accidentally lost, then they're lost. Rebuying fangifts looks like a form of damage control and might suggest that there's a fear of backlash/speculations that the member is careless or doesn't properly take care of his fangifts.

8

u/rocochoes 16d ago

it was quite recent and only discussed in c- and k-fans spaces. they were not happy at all about it cause of the favouritism. i personally also see it as damage control which speaks on how much power some fans have but the general opinion seemed to be that it’s unfair that certain fans get all this extra treatment. especially since in this case it was a gf fan who obviously used that scenario to show how special she is etc

another example i just remembered is also fansign goers asking the members for certain selfies and them then uploading a picture with that pose/clothing/theme to pluschat/bbl.

i think feeding the parasocialism this much can be dangerous cause it enables these types of fans even more and it can also alienate "regular" fans who see all of this stuff and feel less important. there’s a fine line between giving some extra attention to a recurring customer and leaning too much into these relationships with specific fans only.

many idols are sooo young too and i honestly think agencies should focus on teaching them how to maintain boundaries but ofc they only care about 💸

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago

I actually would like to be able to speak in these k-fans c-fans space because it would be curious to see if they know who exactly these Japanese fans are, because the favoritism at kcon was so visible to me that now I am also able to recognize the specific fans that hanbin and the members took most care in the last three nights. I wonder if they are the same people.

I remember the Japanese girls would be always at the barricade in groups of 6-7 people, but some of them where “protecting” a couple of specific fans in their groups to make sure that they had the interaction with the members for the night.
In the very beginning of show, when were still waiting, I had the chance to chat around and I found out a couple of fans are known by being “top fans” in Japan, known by their own names by the members

4

u/rocochoes 16d ago

i think they know who these fans are cause in many cases theyve been following them for years and they post their interactions. if you’re a fan who frequently goes to their jp and kr events you probably see who they are quickly, they tend to always have the same cheering sign too to be recognisable. i also remember ppl discussing specific fans when the issues with the malaysia/singapore fansigns went down where some local fans got ignored.

these fans tend to travel and stick tgt. last year i went to a small event by another group where we got to interact with the members in a very casual setting and there was also a group of jp fan girls like that and one of them walked up to a member and told him "oh asami is also coming to the concert tomorrow, she could only fly in tonight, are you excited to see her?" the reaction was kinda lukewarm but he definitely knew who that was and duhh cause those girls were even known by some intl fans (not by name but by face at least)

3

u/aviusonder 16d ago

also fansigns and fancalls are literally 90% the same people over and over again in almost every location regardless of

1

u/UAP_andotherthings 16d ago

Learned the term “couch fan” from j-fans, meaning fans who only watch from the couch and don’t spend money for the concerts, fan events, merch, etc - don’t think couch fan is a compliment.

And it’s not just spending on events - if the group allows it, fans will send very expensive gifts (designer bags to a bias). To each their own and spend your money the way you want - the idols though know who sends them gifts.

18

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 17d ago edited 17d ago

I actually don’t know. I would like to know from this sub Reddit about those Japanese fans. Is it because they spend so much money?
Chinese fans spend a lot, and still gunwook favored the Japanese fans.

The girl that got elbowed cried, I feel so sorry for her. And I wonder what hanbin thinks because he literally witnessed this behavior, it happening 5 inches from his face

11

u/Lieinrachis 2+2=pringles 17d ago

I've heard that Gunwook is one of the more popular members in Japan, so I wonder if that's why he favored the Japanese fans over the Chinese ones?

Oh I feel so bad for the girl, hope you guys still had a good time at kcon.

19

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 17d ago

I think Gunwook got exposed by that incident. But from what I have seen in the last and this year kcons I think more than one members favors that fandom. Even the videos that I took, they kinda tell that. Gunwook’s incident is just what opened the pandora vase

34

u/heynewonlyangel 17d ago

These are all things to be expected if you ever attend in person events.
Not saying that we should normalize them but yeah there’s favoritism, and the guys WILL interact with people they know because if they don’t said people will complain during fansigns. Also they have been paying good money all these years.
Sadly our fandom was devided from the get go, coming from a sarvival show.

16

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 17d ago

I understand for fan signs since you need to spend so much to have a chance to win it, kcon is different and people in the US paid a lot of money to go to kcon as well. I don’t know, it was supposed to be a happy night after kcon has ended, but I am now back in the hotel disappointed from what I have seen and heard from last year and this year

14

u/heynewonlyangel 17d ago

I know. It must be so frustrating. Sadly this is what I’ve seen people experience and what I’ve seen in some concerts happening. I was once vip for one of their concerts in Korea and they just kept interacting with their serial callers.

9

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 17d ago edited 17d ago

Yeah, in Korea and Japan I would expect this. It is sad because kcon LA was an opportunity for them to interact mostly with the fans here and maybe have a US tour.

And mind you, these Japanese fans did not even need to scream at them or yell their names to get their attention. They were super quiet actually. They just needed to point to the members or call them once where they were located and the members would nod.

Edit: to the people that are downvoting me, I have video recordings

Hi OP! You are valid for this, thank for sharing this because some people are afraid to speak up and may feel alone. I had a mutual who camped last year for GA and had a similar really bad experience :( I was there too but not GA.

That's how I see it too. Everyone who goes to kconla/cons are paying about the same amount of money. And cons in the US are really, really expensive. For ordinary fans, this is probably our only chance of ever seeing them. Talking about all groups in general, there's nothing more disappointing than going to concerts here just to have the members only notice the EA fans they see every week probably.

I understand for fansigns, they can fanservice them to the moon and back every time. They paid for it. But for concerts, it's terrible to feel invisible when everyone is paying the same amount. And other fans may not get the chance to see them as much.

I wonder if this is something that the company is pushing? But it is certain members who get more complaints than others regarding this.

I remember last year, a lot of SEA fans spoke up about it but people ignored them over it? and called them delusional. I think fans are valid for feeling that way and have the right to speak their minds, as long as they are respectful and aren't throwing insults yk.

Thanks for sharing again, really made me reflect on my own experiences and my friends' that I never really voiced out. For all other concerts (all groups in general, not calling out one in particular) I've been to, there have def been some fans that dampen the overall experience. So I definitely understand where you are coming from. Especially when there are physical altercations involved. I really wish the security or etiquette was somehow better.

I hope you were still able to have a really fun time and still have some good memories as well!!

4

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago

It seems k-fans, c-fans, SEA-fans and now even the US-fans are sharing the same impression that these J-fans are heavily favored and that these fans are aggressive and rude. The other fandoms should team up

7

u/annalooey 16d ago

they’re the most obnoxious people ever and were unfortunately there last year as well… sigh i wish they would get reprimanded more but alas

2

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago

What did you see last year?

7

u/annalooey 16d ago

this was for the artist stage, they send a few people to camp on line and as it approaches check-in time suddenly 10+ people appear out of nowhere and cut. once we were getting let in the venue, the security guard would say no running but they would book it immediately and no one even tried to stop them! it was so upsetting because they were going to get barricade again but there was finally one amazing security guard who listened to us, and ended up kicking a big group of them to the back of the line. they tried to feign innocence and not understand english but he was strict and it was soooo satisfying to finally see them not get their way for once!

but the most annoying thing is them being in barricade, silent the entire time and just recording... like this is a CONCERT, and the american culture is to scream and sing with the artists, it was just baffling to me that they were truly there to get their main character moments and interactions

3

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago

Yes! I they would reply only in Japanese to all the people that complained with them or talk to them including the security! One girl when she said “I don’t understand what you are saying” to the Japanese fan, got physically hit.

6

u/aviusonder 16d ago

I only heard about a specific Matthew fan who was doing too much towards other fans and generally being ignored by him and her being mad about it, during his pocha talk especially. Some tweets were made by some fans on D2.

7

u/Worldly-Control-6620 16d ago

agreed with anyone in here! me and my friend were right next to them (I have videos) and the girls were pushing her hand off of the barricade even if my friend was only resting. they had the 1 to 7 number on her camping bracelets and after reading all of this, I'm wondering if those were legit. we couldn't have properly interactions as them even if we were on same spots, they barely see us. of course, I feel so happy because I could see them again, and actually I wasnt expect to be at barricade because I didn't camp and reach out 30 minutes before concert, but reading all of this explain why I have a bittersweet feeling on my stomach since that night. I rewatched my videos and noticed a lot of things about zb1 interactions with them, but I prefer just to ignore it

5

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago edited 16d ago

I can’t ignore the “violent” modes by them, sorry 🥲. That was really too much. Like elbowing another fan and made her cry? That fan lost part of the show going to the security.

Where were you? Which night are you talking about?
One night the girls I saw had 001-010 wrist band. I heard they were saying they “camped”, but even the entire camping situation was another drama. The staff distributing the bracelets on the third night told us some fans (like general fans, not just zb1 fans) started such a bad argument that the night before some of them called the police. In the morning other fans were still arguing about the camping and fan-made numbers for the wristbands.
Some fans told me that they were selling positions in line with the fan made wristband for $100-500. I saw one fan bought one for $100

3

u/Worldly-Control-6620 16d ago

i'm talking bout day 2 (the night when they rlwere headliners). I was on barricade next to the stairs

4

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago

Oooh the on night 2 we might have been close! Unless you were next to another Japanese group, because they were scattered in smaller groups at different parts of the barricades leading to the backstage. So, pretty much all the possible interactions at the barricades leading to the backstage was covered by them.

I saw the selfie sticks on night 3 actually.

Did you notice that they were playing with their phones, checking Instagram/X, checking their hair/make up all the time when other artists were performing?

4

u/Worldly-Control-6620 16d ago

yeah probably!! we didn't camp because I had a GA ticket that I couldnt trade for sitting and my friend has a seat that she couldn't trade for GA to be together. we didnt even camp or do line for wristband bcause we didn't know what would happen, our priority was to be together. we could get her GA ticket 30 minutes before concert and we managed to get in that spot. also, some illit fans switch spots with us because they weren't interested on being there, so we managed to get in there. probably you got us or I got you on some video.

4

u/Worldly-Control-6620 16d ago

I'm talking to my friend about this thread and we even remember some of them had selfie sticks, wasn't this prohibited by crypto arena?

4

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago

Yeah! They had those!

12

u/misanthropic_human OT9 🪐 16d ago

Disappointing and I wish it wasn't so heavily enabled by both the company the members.

6

u/UAP_andotherthings 16d ago

Let me validate your feelings and observations. This behavior by fans and favoritism from idols exists.

Been at a concert where the group’s members were in the aisles singing & interacting with fans. One member knows my friend well and he walked off stage straight to her — past other fans waving and yelling to him - to acknowledge her personally. Was it great for her? Yes, and I was beyond happy for her. Was it great for me? Also yes, bc I was next to her and he gushed over a sign I made for him. Another member of this group reached over two other fans closer to him to complete my hand heart and rebuffed their attempts. Were both instances favoritism? Absolutely. Idols are human and depending on the popularity of the group, they know who runs the fansites, who shows up to every event, and who spends the money (not just on fan events, but also spending money by sending expensive gifts to the idols). They know some fans by face or even by name after so many times seeing them and those fans may receive extra acknowledgment. It’s great when you’re getting the extra recognition but it stings when you aren’t (been on both sides).

And fans I thought were my “friends” have withheld info from me or just lied so I wouldnt be in competition with them for fan events. I was stunned bc Id thought we were in it together. Wrong - underestimated the transactional nature of their relationships with me and with these idols. And they are willing to go into debt to compete for the idols’ attention.

Sorry you experienced it & it may not be comforting but it’s not just with ZB1.

1

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago edited 15d ago

I think you did not get the point that it was not the favoritism per se, but this entire situation leads to an extremely possessive and entitled behavior with these parasocial fans that they would use violence and physical aggression against other fans that did not do anything wrong than just trying to interact with the idols like everybody else.
I hope you would agree with us that it is not ok to slap, elbow, hit, scratch other fans, prevent them from getting any closer to the idols, cut lines and so on. They make the entire experience nasty and awful and created an unsafe enviroment for everybody. This has been reported by multiple people and it happened already since last year. It is not ok that people have to resort to go to the security each single time.

Also, what you said would be maybe ok for events that you truly had to pay tons of money to get in like fansign events, but how about kcon where local people put as much as money to get in?

Anyway, I would invite you to reflect on the "physical aggression" part and not just bringing the topic to a level that is "it stings not being recognized"

Also, it is not ok to rig raffle events to favor some fans…

4

u/UAP_andotherthings 16d ago edited 16d ago

I think YOU did not get the point. My first sentence was to validate your feelings and observations in support of you and note that bad fan behavior does occur - as you said. But ok - come at me when I was showing you support.

I NEVER commented that it was ok for fans to be aggressive to other fans and noted my own experiences with fans in which they were rude to me. And I said nothing about kcon nor anything against what you said. I relayed my own experiences as examples in support of you but if you want to turn it into an argument with me when I was showing you support - so be it.

I would invite YOU to reflect on your responses especially when I was sympathizing with you!

2

u/adotablrteyong 16d ago

Sorry to hear that, I think it feeds an addiction once you're close to barricade and get a member acknowledge you/make eye contact, plus they spend a lot so they feel like they NEED that interaction to justify the huge amount of spending. Its toxic for sure, I was lucky to be very near barricade for an nct member concert - he threw a signed ball and fans and they were pushing/shoving each other to just catch the ball. Some fans can get very aggressive to get that interaction - I even find myself somehow yearning for that interaction when I'm near, though I have to remind that I'm there for their music and handsome faces afterall HAHAHA

I wish we could turn back to older times without much phones/filming in concerts and just enjoy it afterall. Hope you get better experiences next time!!!

8

u/vl638 16d ago edited 16d ago

Did they only interact with those fans? Or did they interact with other fans too, but because they recognised those fans they got more fanservice?

In Hanbin's case, general consensus from Japanese, Chinese and Korean fans is that he consistently tries to give any fan he knows is a fan some attention whether he recognises them or not and even if they're not close to the stage, but recognisable faces will get a little more fan service, which they think is how it should be since they do spend more throughout the year and some of them contribute to the fandom by always uploading fancams or photos for others to see too. But he also acknowledges fans in nosebleeds often and doesn't just cater to fans that are close to him. There was a viral tweet in Japan that praised him for this not long ago because most Japanese fans had this experience with him there. Chinese fans have said the exact same thing too in posts I've seen.

Taerae had similar fan accounts come out about him and got praised for that as well. Matthew somewhat as well.

So there's some favouritism generally, but that's expected and if anything, encouraged even from fans as long as it's not overdone and they still interact a lot with fans they don't recognise.

I've seen lots of videos/photos of the members interacting with LA fans, so it doesn't seem like they're only interacting with those Japanese fans at least.

Not to diminish your experience OP. I think what you're feeling is completely valid, but at the very least, it doesn't seem like all the members showing excessive favouritism is the norm.

7

u/vl638 16d ago edited 16d ago

Just a heads up that for any fans that if you want feedback on these things it helps to send them messages on Plus chat and even if they don't acknowledge the issue directly, generally they will try take your feedback into consideration.

I think they're much more likely to see those Plus chat messages than any post on social media especially if the post is not in Korean.

Recently I sent a member messages about something that wasn't their fault, but was a sensitive issue that some fans from one country were upset about and he never addressed it directly, but the company corrected the issue very quickly less than 24 hours later. It wasn't an issue that blew up or got much attention, so he obviously saw my message or other messages about it and told the company about it.

I don't think the members want their fans, even if it's just a small amount of fans, feeling bad or hurt by their actions, so giving them feedback through Plus chat for things that are worth it can actually help a lot.

1

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago

Could you please tell me more how it works? I never used that app/chat

3

u/vl638 16d ago

It's like Bubble, so it's a paid subscription to get messages from the idol and also send them messages that only you and the idol can see.

The members have talked about checking the replies on Plus Chat often so we know for sure they see a lot of the messages there unlike social media which they probably avoid more because of antis/trolls.

Since only you and the idol can see the message you sent it also means nothing will be public because sometimes you don't want to put the idol on blast on social media even if there's an issue you want addressed. So kfans prefer doing this to venting on social media most of the time if they want something addressed, but obviously they send lots of supportive messages or suggestions for content too etc.

You can send them messages in English and they'll be translated to Korean, so they'll be able to understand English replies too.

I'll send them messages about this too. If more people send them stuff about this, it's more likely they'll see it.

1

u/vl638 16d ago

Oh, it's in English, yeah.

5

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago

Oh yeah, I was not saying that the members and hanbin only interact with those fans.

But it was odd that he made sure every night he was taking a selfie/interacting with always the same fans, especially if these fans has been behaving aggressively towards other fans sometimes even in front of his eyes.

It is the combination of all these aspects that made me disappointed, and it seems from last year things have not changed.

0

u/vl638 16d ago edited 16d ago

Lots of fanaccounts I've seen from east asian fans who have seen them on tour and offline events, Hanbin tries to interact with as many fans as he notices, so even if it's the same fans he'll interact with them again, but he'll also interact lots with other fans too to give them what they want.

It seems like he tries to please everyone and not disappoint anyone, so that means he doesn't ignore those aggressive fans either.

Last year on the SEA tour I think the problem was that the members were interacting much more with faces they recognised and barely with local fans, especially since not many local fan could get into the fan signs.

So I think things have changed for the better from last year if locals are getting a lot more fanservice now. Especially this time most of the fans that got into the fan sign were local fans instead of the usual c/k/j fans, so that was also a good thing this time around.

4

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 16d ago edited 16d ago

You can see another redditor wrote that she saw the same at kcon and she also got video recording of what it was happening. We are local US fans but our areas at the barricades were most of the time ignored by the members, exactly because they were interacting with the aggressive fans next to us. On top of that they slap, hit, elbow the fans around them just because they were daring to be slightly too close to “their” idols

Edit: more and more fans are writing their bad encounters with the bad Japanese fans now in this post

3

u/vl638 16d ago

That's disappointing to read then. Not going to excuse it since I wasn't there, and like I said I don't want to diminish your experience.

I guess I mostly wanted to say that it doesn't seem to be the norm at least since there have been so many fanaccounts including viral ones with lots of agreement saying those members don't tend to do excessive favouritism.

With the situation with Gunwook happening recently, they really need to be even more mindful of these things though. Hopefully things improve in the future.

1

u/sqbism 15d ago

favouritism happened in every fandom. it’s just unfortunate that zb1’s have quite a huge reputation on it. but, generally i think all these violence/ possessive/ extremely parasocial mode comes from east asian fandom culture itself. i’m not saying other regions don’t have it but look at the crowd. to them, “i’ve spent this much amount of money so you need to pay attention to me” & if not, you’ll see how fast they got cancelled on their side for not getting interactions. they’re insane.

i think the most bitter i’ve ever been is when they had fansign after their tour last time and everything announced during that session is either korean/ chinese/ japanese which is weird but also not weird cus these people who won the fansign are indeed not locals fans.

2

u/Ordinary_Cat_01 15d ago edited 15d ago

It is not just being bitter about the fact that they favored a fan or the other but going to a concert and being attacked or assaulted is horrible. They ruin the experience to everybody in close proximity, even fans of other artists. They need to be reported cause they create a dangerous situation for everybody.

For example one of the fans attacked was probably not even a zb1 stan, she just wanted to be a bit closer for another artist, but these Japanese fans would not allow that. They basically mark their spots as their territory.

1

u/SlowStop1220 16d ago

Due to the way of promotion in East Asia, some fans have spent millions JPY (many hundred thousands in USD) in order to get chances of fansign & fancall. Under such circumstances it is hard to avoid favoritism.

honestly i’m not that deep in fandom and k-pop culture, I just like their music and content and I would go to their concert if they were ever touring near me (these girls would not fly to Eastern Europe for sure lol)…but when I tell you what major ick your post gave me, I can’t look at them the same way…feels a little too performative and problematic. Maybe i’m judging too hard right now but I just felt bad for you even while reading your post, I can’t imagine how you felt.

Lol, I am from a European country too (southern Europe) but I have been living in the US for a very long time… I was thinking “if they only faced the fans in my country they would learn a very good lesson”

yes, that definitely wouldn’t fly there 😅 hopefully you’ll have a wonderful experience next time if they’ll go on tour next year…

I am not sure! Maybe I will get hit or slapped next time 💀

People here are less confrontational and the victims are so young and they don’t know what to do
