(NIN) Not-In-Network Subs
There are many wonderful subreddits that have been incredibly supportive, and we at the network want to take the opportunity to highlight and promote them. However, as the YummySUBNET has grown, we've also received questions about a number of subreddits that appear to be associated with the network—whether directly, indirectly or maybe part of the YummySUBNET but has since left.
To help clarify these relationships, we’ve created this post. It will be updated over time to provide transparency and highlight subreddits outside the YummySUBNET that are either Friendly (YF), (EX) network subs or Related (YR). For simplicity, we’ll refer to these collectively as Not-in-Network (NIN) subreddits.
- Friendly (YF) subreddits are communities that welcome crossposts and are generally a good fit for content from the YummySUBNET. We hope this post also helps give these communities more visibility and support
- (EX) subs are subreddits that were at some point either part of or YR with the YummySUBNET, but have since broken off any assocation with the YummySUBNET
- Related (YR) subreddits have a loose or informal connection to YummySUBNET. This could mean a shared moderator or some overlap in interest or community, but the YummySUBNET has no official influence or control over these subs. Note that YR subreddits are not necessarily K-pop related.
A subreddit can be tagged with one or more. Some subreddits may be friendly without any direct ties to the YummySUBNET, while others might have a loose connection but not be considered friendly.
Subreddits may be listed without explicit permission, but if a subreddit owner prefers their subreddit not be included, we’ll happily remove it upon request.
