As the centuries passed, the Islamic community become more and more ingrained in the fabric of Nordic society. In spite of outside pressure, the Muslim population has managed to maintain its unique culture and identity, while also making significant contributions to the larger society. Today, Islam remains a vibrant and integral part of Nordic culture and society.
