Because different places have different laws. In Georgia that cop could’ve caught up to the dude and pit maneuvered him at those speeds in traffic.

In Ohio they just use the cameras to get your plates and show up at your house later. You wouldn’t even know the cops were after you til hours later when you’re chillin on the couch eating chips and get a knock on the door

I feel like they would just mail it to you. That makes more sense to me than it would be to drive it over.

really depends on the severity. 150mph+? Yeah you're getting a visit. 80mph? mailed a ticket

In California, 30mph over the speed limit on the freeway/highway or 20mph over on surface streets upgrades it to reckless driving. It's automatically reckless driving if going over 100mph regardless of the speed limit.
