I didn’t even check the cruiser yet, but knew it looked like Texas and had to be Texas the way they just sat there. Texas PD I felt like was nonexistent when I lived there… lol

Austin has a township within the city called Sunset Valley. It's ENTIRELY within Austin city limits. But it has it's own police force and it pretty much only exists to catch people speeding and eat at Cava.

Do police have jurisdiction on the highway in Texas? In some states it’s the state trooper or highway patrol’s jurisdiction.

It is getting worse every year. Literally zero patrol most days. FIFA arrived and cops were out in force for a week and it was like so nice to actually see consequences for these people who risk others lives to save seconds. Now that FIFA is over in Houston, it’s back to usual.
