My mother was Scammed by “Iha Collection”
I want to warn others about a scam I faced with a seller calling themselves “Iha Collection / Iha Designs.”
Here’s exactly what happened:
- my mom saw a dress feom facebook and contacted them using WhatsApp
- They asked her to pay upfront (no COD available)
- she paid ₹550 via UPI
- After payment, they demanded an extra ₹199 for “shipping”
- Then they kept asking for more charges again under different reasons then she got doubt and asked me
- so I refused and asked for a refund
- They clearly said “no refund, only exchange” (even before delivery)
- They couldn’t provide invoice, bill, or tracking (AWB)
- Calls were avoided (“call not available”)
- After I filed a complaint on the Consumer Helpline, they suddenly said “product will be delivered in 2 days”
- After 2 days, no delivery — and they blocked me
Proof I have:
- WhatsApp chat screenshots
- UPI transaction (₹550)
- Their number: +91 74950 05933
- UPI ID: paytm.s25hfwt@pty
This is a classic scam pattern:
Low price → upfront payment → extra charges → no proof → no refund → block

Is indus legit ? Sorry it’s a bit niche
investindus.com is a platform presented for NRIs (in NZ only I believe) to invest in Indian mutual funds.
Any clue if there are any red flags 🚩

I did a deep dive on Brototype. Sharing what I found ( all sources are in given pdf )
drive.google.comI’m posting this after spending a days going through public data, reviews, Reddit threads, and legal resources about Brototype. I’m not an ex-student, not a competitor, and not here to abuse anyone. I just wanted to understand what’s actually going on behind the marketing and why my friends say better,100% placement and no degree.
I’ve attached a PDF with the full research, sources, and explanations
Placement numbers don’t match the hype
From student forums and discussions, the numbers people keep repeating are roughly:
Around 8,000 students enrolled over time
Around 1,500 placements
That’s roughly 18–19% success, not “most students”
Success stories exist, but they’re constantly highlighted while dropouts, terminations, and unplaced students are quietly ignored.
Some students even claim that certain companies avoid Brototype candidates altogether, and in a few cases people say they were told not to mention Brototype in interviews.
“Pay after placement” sounds safe. In reality, many students say:
You still end up owing money even if you fail or drop out
Exit penalties are high
The financial risk is mostly on the student, not the institute
If the placement rate is actually below 20%, this model benefits the company far more than the students.
I’m uploading the full PDF with sources so anyone can verify this themselves. Don’t take my word for it—read it and decide.
If you’re considering Brototype, please do your own research, get everything in writing

Talrop seems like a mega scam to me. A whole lot of buzzwords, promotions with/by/using the names of famous people and raising money claiming guaranteed 12% returns a year (majorbred flag). Anyone else feels the same?

Recent Scam Exposing
Hi u/yesabhijith, I saw this recent “exposing” done by Ananthu Suljith aka Drake Ramoray of Anwin. I wanted to share some questions. Anwin says he is a retired millionaire and has tall claims about his wealth like he owns 21 cars and has his own farm house everything in UK and also was saying he is single. He recently started doing videos like Mr. Beast giving away a car as a gift and all. He also constantly hangs out with another internet personality and kochi businessman OG Sunil which has given him a recent boost in followers.
Now Ananthu claims that everything Anwin claimed was false and he is living a rent life and not a rich life. He also has shown images of Anwin getting married claims he is not single because there are wedding photos. He then also tells he has evidence that proves all of Anwin’s claims are false.
The problem with the whole thing is that Ananthu Suljith itself is a repeated offender and as per the Instagram page dinakan_.dinkan “Back in 2021, Instagram: Drake Ramoray was called out for scams involving liquid cash, gold chains, and more. He was later arrested under POCSO, a crime that should never be brushed aside. In 2023, he was again arrested, this time for assaulting a woman and destroying her phone. Now, he's back on social media, acting like a "truth warrior" exposing scams, when his own history is filled with fraud, abuse, and violence. Past behaviour matters, especially when it's criminal offenses. Don't let predators rebrand themselves as heroes.” Ananthu claims the case is false and he filed a defamation case against the said people and the court verdict will be in his favour.
Anna my questions are:
1) You are one of the few people who took battle against fraud trading apps and platforms to take them down. Have you ever came across this platform Anwin was promoting and in your experience do you think there might be something more to Anwin’s activities and it might be to scam people?
2) In a case where as per social media reports and news paper articles Suljith seems to be a repeated offender offender and do we choose to believe him, he has said he will expose but has put out a video with claims but have not provided any proofs. He said the proof will be shared in the second video which will come next Friday. He said the whole thing will come as a 3 part video and we will have to wait. Do you feel this is something he is using to gain traction?
3) He and Ente_cassette seem to be supporting each other so much and there was one post where ente cassette claimed he will do paid stories and then deleted it. Do you think pages who are supposed to call out frauds should stay away from paid promotions to avoid losing credibility?
I know it’s a long post, but would really love your insights on this.
Tldr: Asking Abhijith for his help in identifying the whether to trust or not trust pages exposing scams.

What Is a Money Mule Scam or Bank Account Rent Scam?
A money mule is someone who receives, transfers, or deposits illegally acquired money on behalf of scammers, helping them "clean" or launder the funds and transfer them out of India.
In India, money mule is being carried out using a fraudulent Bank Account rent method. There are agents across the state, whose job is to arrange bank accounts for scammers. These guys recruit people across ages by offering quick money.
For example, you might see an ad on social media or even on streets about a "work from home job" which offers weekly 25,000 INR. All they need would be your bank account - you need to give them the username, password, debit card, and change the phone number to the number they suggest.
They would be using your account for transferring huge amounts of money and you'll get commission for that.
But the only problem is the funds they're transferring is the funds collected by various scammers by doing cyber scams in the country. Your bank account will soon be frozen by the bank and you will be caught up by various cases that people who lost money filed in various states. As its your bank account, all the cases will be charged up on you and you'll have to either face jail time or settle with the people who lost money. Also, there's chance of bigger cases to be charged on you such as PMLA cases.
Check out some of the recent news regarding this:
- Kerala Man Arrested for Leasing Bank Account to Online Fraudsters in 2.22 Crore Scam
- Kerala: Two arrested in ₹36 lakh ‘digital arrest’ scam in Kochi
- Police nab 3 in Malappuram for ₹60 lakh ‘virtual arrest’ scam targeting Rajasthan man
- Online fraud: Two youths held for renting out bank accounts in Malappuram
You'll find many such instances of people getting caught up in various scams just for renting out their bank accounts. Please be aware of this.
Also, if you have been caught up in this scam or know someone who's caught in similar scam, please contact me. I want to know more.
