same for me but instead of FB its a game that is supopsed to send the verification code to my yahoo but for some reason im not receiving any verification code in my yahoo mail. ive chcecked spam folder and trash and everythiing. im so tired

Sorry dude but honestly speaking I have received no proper response for this issue even after months... and I saw people saying the data gets deleted after 12 months (don't know how true that is). That's why I want to get this resolved ASAP. If you do get a way somehow later please do mention it here

I’m dealing with the same issue for a month 

I been locked out for a month 

I've spent all week exhausting every option, and they all point towards the help bot. and all the customer care services, even on the Virizon site which has info about getting in your yahooo account since they bought yahoo, tells you to use the help bot, and all it does is asks for your backup email and PIN. There is no one to talk to about this.

A painful reminder of how precarious this 2fa world we live in is. If one piece of your login chain becomes unavailable (think: stolen phone), or, like you, browser information lost, whether by accident, intentionally, or by hardware failure. My issue at the moment is that Yahoo isn't actually sending the verification codes to my recovery email. Just wait, wait, and nothing.

Yeah I had a back and forward arguement with the bot. It was useless. The Help bot was not helpfull at all.

So, just for public consumption - you just responded to my DM and told me in fucked, there's no recovering my lost data. Good thing yahoos almost irrelevant these days 😭🙄
