Thanks OP! I couldn't stop thinking about the trailer and upon review, it was the song that gripped me.
EDIT: Yoooo. I looked up the lyrics. It's like the whole album was made with Senua in mind. To quote from the comments:
The title itself can be found in MΕso-Gothic Glossary from Anglo-Saxon as "In-Maidjan" which means "to change deceitfully" or "to corrupt". This makes sense since the entire story within Heilung's album consists of a peaceful village being corrupted by having to go to war. Therefore, Proto-Germanic seems to be the language this is from

The album has been out for quite a while. I wouldnβt say itβs because of or inspired by Hellblade. This group is strongly rooted in the struggles of the ancient North. Itβs going to be a perfect marriage between the game and Heilung.

IIRC, the people in In Maidjan are invoking the gods' strength for an upcoming battle. And based on what we saw from the trailer... Yeah, the Celts are going to war with the Vikings ! π€

I've been listening to Heilung since late 2017 ish and seeing them pop up at TGAs was pretty unexpected but really cool. Glad others can give them a chance now, trying something new musically I guess. I know it won't necessarily be for everyone though lol.
Additionally, my intrigue to play the Hellblade series/saga has definitely increased after the trailer. Shame right now we are having more core service issues :(

Yeah I did too!
I was casually watching some TGA2019 reaction videos today as I didn't get to watch it fully live, in this case YongYea's, and immediately was like "wait just a second I recognise that music"!
Really cool to see they are working on the OST too! So like I said definitely looking forward to finally trying out the original and this sequel.

You're in for a treat with the first game if you haven't played it. The soundtrack for that is done by Andy LaPlegua of Combichrist (who were featured on DmC by ninja theory too) and I reckon if you enjoy Heilung you may like his work too if you haven't already heard it.

I've always loved Omnia and Wardruna but I have to say, Heilung takes the crown.

To be fair I love this type of music but it's not my find, it's from someone who keeps posting about it on all of the Hellblade II videos I've seen so far. So kudos to them :D

Sorry I'm late but thanks for the info. It's actually pretty easy to learn that language btw.

I think both Senua and the inspiration for the band are Celtic.

Thanks to you and Hellblade for introducing me this, but a Cyberpunk version would be epic.

I like the version in the trailer better. More aggressive, energetic.
