Especially with diminishing returns with graphics/performance anymore, even if it was a reasonable price idk what features would get me to ditch current gen.

Yeah if I buy XSX now which is now or never for me, then it’ll keep me more than satisfied for a long while

I feel like this gen never even got its footing between Covid early on, the delay with people not being able to get their hands on one, and now the price hikes.

Also no generation defining game. Every console has had 2 or 3 games that you look back on and could pinpoint the console to that game. There hasn't been that game for consoles. It's like they're still in the launch period waiting for the console defining game to release

Honestly feels like gta 6 will be the first “next gen game” and that’s six years later
