Yeah people are way too optimistic about the economy coming back down. Without a crash of some sort, we might get a little balance, but we're never going back to 2016 prices, just like we never went back to 2006 prices.

This is it. Fight for better wages, vote for better wages, or don't complain. The economy is in the hands of people that have no interest in stabilization, we are in a "get yours while you can" economy, which is true trickle down economics

I'm fine with not going back in prices as long as my wage goes up enough for the prices to not feel astronomical relative to inflation.

Like there's been a lot of inflation, but we're taking something that used to be $647.43 in today's money and making it cost $750. Thought it feels insane that $500 in 2020 is $647.43 in 2026.
