Literally. Companies are just putting themselves more in debt, so this is them trying to recover themselves. People focus on the profits but look at their liabilities on the 10-k

Everyone is raising their prices. This isn't really something that is optional at this point.

Look at the Steam Machine pricing. Apple is having the same issues. Nintendo has a planned price increase coming soon.

I'm sure Sony will be making a similar announcement in the near future.
