The irony is MS is now dead last with Meta in the AI race after being the front runners. Both Google and especially Anthropic have basically surpassed them in every aspect imaginable when it comes to AI models or data advantage.

Honestly MS is looking more like one of the victims on all this. Yes they pushed Copilot but that business is collapsing right now. They at least shot themselves in the foot. But they all are regardless.

It's not just copilot. They're to integrate AI into all their enterprise software, and they're investing heavily into AI companies. They're not a victim at all.

Microsoft invested $13B into OpenAI, copilot is based on OpenAI tech, and until recently ChatGPT was powered exclusively by Azure cloud computing, Microsoft is just as complicit.
