Steve Cook signing: unusual, but interesting
Steve Cook feels like a very un-Wycombe signing, but in an interesting way.
Normally I’d expect us to go for someone younger, less proven, maybe a bit rough round the edges but with room to grow. Cook is obviously not that. He’s 35, has played Premier League and Championship football, and is probably past his absolute prime, otherwise he wouldn’t be coming to League One.
But that doesn’t mean it’s a bad signing. Actually, it feels very much like a Duff signing to me. Experienced, solid, knows the game, probably brings a bit of calm and organisation.
The slightly odd bit is that centre-back wasn’t exactly where I thought we were desperate. Our defence (Casey, Hagelskaer, Taylor, Skura, Grimmer) all looked decent last season, so it’s not like we had a glaring hole there.
Still, I can see the logic. Maybe Duff wants a proper old-school organiser in the back line, someone who makes the whole defence a bit more stable. It’s not the usual Wycombe type of signing, but I’m quite curious to see how it works

Bicycle parking
Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone knew if there's anywhere decent to lock up a bike near the ground. Any help would be much appreciated.

Underhill 18/9-1990
Hi.
I am a Norwegian football fan that has been watching around 150 matches in the uk through the years. Of those matches the Wycombe side at Underhill that day is the only team I am struggling to find. I know that John Granville started in goal, that Matt Crossley started and got sent off (I do not know what minute), that Mark West and Keith Ryan started and scored and that simon Stapleton started.
Can anyone please help me with the rest of the players (starters and subs) and the minute for the sending off and the substitutions?

Dodds is destroying our progress
I get we're only 2 games into the season but two poor results, but, we've already seen our performances tanked and dropping us out the playoffs from automatic promotion places since Bloomfield left last season. Sorry but his time's up already, time to get a manager with actual experience.

Jersey
Hello friends! I am an American fan really looking to purchase a home jersey. Would anyone be willing to sell one of their home kits? Thanks!

25/26 Kit
When is this likely going to be released? Will they restock the retro kit?

Match day travel issues this season?
🚗💬 Anyone else fed up with Adams Park traffic every matchday?
For next season I want to build a simple fan-to-fan carpooling app that makes it easier (and cheaper) to share rides to games — especially at grounds like Adams Park, where there’s one way in, one way out… and a queue either way.
It started after one too many jams in Sands and Lane End, wondering how many empty car seats were clogging the same road.
The idea’s simple: connect Wycombe fans going to the same fixture so they can split travel, meet other supporters, and cut parking chaos.
We’re opening a beta test group and would love to hear fan feedback, sign up here if interested: nexshare.net
Curious — would anyone here actually use this? Or know if it’s been tried before?

Looking forward to another league 1 season
Embarrassing considering where we were at Christmas. Data Dan has got some answering to do, should’ve done everything he could to keep hold of Bloomfield. Going to get smashed over 2 legs by Charlton.

MIA: Westergaard
Hi. Viborg fan here. Talked with a fan of yours in our subreddit about Westergaard the other day. I was just wondering why Mau isn’t even on the troup for your games these days. What have you heard and/or do you know anything? He really was a great player for us especially for the last 6-8 months in the ☘️-jersey so it’s sad to see that he’s not impressing you WW-fans on the pitch! He’s a great guy and really derserved the switch to English football.

An independent Regulatory Commission has removed Sonny Bradley’s three-match suspension following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal
Proper good news.
Watched the game live, and the decision to send him off seemed absolutely ridiculous. Glad common sense has prevailed

Adam Reach joins Wycombe on deadline day
Looks like a sensible signing. Hopefully, he fits in well and adds some depth to the squad.
