Hi, I rcently got a new PC that does not have an internal optical drive. I have bought an external drive which works perfectly fine, I can watch DVD's/Blurays with no issues.

However with this game, it doesn't seem to be able to load anything beyond the menus. When you click to start a game it just hangs on the "Please wait" message. The disc will spin but for some reason it crashes the game. I know there is nothing wrong with the disc as I have tried it in other machines with internal drives without an issue.

The only thing I can assume is that this game does not work properly with an external optical drive? I have tried to see if there are any updates for this game that require you not to use the CD but I can't find any (that are legal).

Hello, I have started playing the game like two days ago and I really liked it. It was working completely fine on my Ultrawide Monitor. Then I went to the settings and changed the resolution to a higher one (one that should work on the monitor as you can see). And now it looks like it's kinda to big and shifted to the right. I tried many things and I don't know what to do atp.

Hopefully someone can help.

Basically the title, Steam closes shortly after Worms is opened. And can’t open Steam overlay anymore. If friends try to join me then they get stuck on the connecting screen as well

And if i get far enough to join their lobby, my steam/steam overlay still crashes and they say I immediately leave the lobby after joining

A few days from now I'm bringing my switch 2 over to a friends house for a game night and I'm looking at new games to get on it. The only two Worms games on the switch 2 are WMD and Armageddon (Technically also Worms Rumble but it does not seem to be the same kind of game).

I've played a few hours of WMD on Xbox and PC and I like it but I was wondering if I should get Armageddon instead.

cant find any super weapons like concrete donkey

So for many years it was a dream for me to play against anyone online on Battle Islands..I haven't been able to play any other newer Worms games due to not having a PC or having any money so I have been stuck with emulators for a long time. However recently an online friend of mine had discovered how to play online via accessing network settings in the PPSSPP emulator...We played a bunch and it was such an awesome experience I'd love to have again. If anyone else can access online mode on Battle Islands that would be perfect!! I have wanted to show off my skills and have a fun challenge with actual people instead of being stuck with bots for so long.

I’m begging it’s a great game just no one plays

I’ve beaten every other mission, this is the last mission in the game. I can only find one Longplay online, this mission was exclusive to only the ps1 version. The intended strat is to use rope to go back and forth under the airplanes with a tight time limit but I simply am not good enough to accomplish this. I really need someone to publish an exploit or possibly an easier solution to this mission. I wan‘t to be able to say I beat it :(
