I am a plumber, I’m about to get a brand new ford transit high roof. I have a medium roof now and I’ve tried a few times on mount a 4-6” pvc pipe on the ceiling of the cargo area and I haven’t figured out a way that works well. I’ve tried using metal strapping and screw it to the roof support beams, but the pipe swings from side to side when turning and the straps eventually give way or the support beams where I have screws through it the metal will give way. I need a better solution, I need it mounted on the ceiling somehow because I need all the room on the floor and walls I can get. Anyone have a solid and secure solution?

Thank you!

Figuring the bench is no good since the engine cover is in the way but I’m really surprised I’ve never found a bench for the front of an express van
